HI, I've got the same setup as you. playing around with settings. You mention 45fps below. is that total fps or 45 per eye so make it at 90fps total? I'm goign to base my setup on your settings to see what improvement i can get too. are you using the link cable? any particular extra tools or software/settings in teh occulus app to set?
I'm using the link cable and no extra software, it's 45 with Oculus ASW creating the rest, so it gives the feeling of 90. Some minor imperfections will appear but worth it.
Can I just ask why it seems like your offset from the center of the hud. I get that the vr has tilt but it just seems like your leaning to the right in the cockpit the whole time
The quest 2 recording is from the right eye only, that's why it seems that it's not centered. When using the VR headset each eye receives a different image, this is what makes a real 3d experience like a real life.
A 2d video will never give the sensation of 3d of the real VR headset, when you use it at the first time you see how different it is, you really feel how the cockpit is small and see how things on the real cockpit is so different than what you see on 2d. There is no going back after going VR.
@@guilhermebechtinger and one more question do you use dlss at all. I only ask cause I have an amd 6700xt and 5800x and I want to get an oculus as well but I’m nervous to see if I’ll have a good experience in game cause I won’t get good performance with as demanding the game is
Hmm i got the rtx 3060 ti recently, i feel kinda wierd having this card, not many reviews about it, what do you think?, Is DCS playable on ultra or high 1440p? Im asking because i don't have the storage and im planing to play the game.
Do you plan to use a VR headset? if yes, the 3060ti will not be enough... probably only the 3090 will work ok on ultra at VR. if no VR, the 3060ti will be enough.
Could we get a look at your settings?

Turn the gamma down, it’ll look better :)
Thanks! I'll try that!
What are your settings?
Can you please share the screen shot of your graphics settings screen?

Same setup here, but no VR. Not sure what to get for DCS and FS2020, and if my system is up to it for a good resolution in vR...? Anu suggs? =)
It's enough to get a good resolution, but a 3080 will give you a butter smooth experience.
How did you do it? I have the same setup and defenitly doesn´t run like yours, any tips¿ Thanks
Reduce your fov with oculus debug tool, you get a increase of 50% performance. Mine is at 0.6 and 0.76

@@cmmcfielful DCS doesn't work with DLSS yet. Your 6700xt will work fine(just not in the max settings), your processor is also very good.
@@guilhermebechtinger pulled the trigger and got the headset for my birthday tried it out. Loved it
No Steam VR and no Virtual Desktop? Can you share how you did that, my setup is almost the same and I can’t have this visual quality
I'm using the link cable, no way to play over wifi here, so much delay. Lower your texture on DCS and lower the pixel density on quest app to 1.1x

You don't need Oculus tray tool to get s good performance with your system.
Are you saying I wont need with the 32gbs? I def need with 16.....
@@killraine0712 32gb is needed, but check your resolution multiplier on quest 2 PC software, try to lower to 1.1x at 90hz.
does the 45fps look good in dcs?
Yes, but if you want to buy a graphic cards now go for a Rtx 4070 ti.
Is this through steam or stand alone
