You can't get it wrong, they are different size hoses, they can only attach one way. They hoses will cross over each other because of the position the parts are in.
Thanks for this video i have 1999 ford f150 and i have 303 ,900 miles and is the first time my check engine light coming on because Egr valve pressure sensor
My ex-boyfriend is a Certified mechanic I recently broke up with him and now my Ford F-150 2003 doesn't work. I replace the starter already how are the fuses replaced I need help I don't know what to do
Thomas Harden Fishing Do it yourself repairs on my 4.6 2001 f150...I see just the 2 studs coming out,no connection or hoses...someone must have removed mine...truck ran great in till other day when I washed motor compartment. ..my mechanic said I must have gotten water down in plugs that's why it runs like crap now...I just have p1401 code...Scotty Kilmer says to clean egr valve and inlets...thanks
I just looked in my 2002 4.6 Romeo head F150.. because I threw a P0405 code so I guess I'm replacing the EGR valve pressure sensor like you...mine is free floating and not connected to those bolt holes and the hoses are too short to have ever reached there. I hope your truck cleared up! I'll try and remember to update this if I fix the code.
@@roadstar499 : I have a 2002 f150 V8 4.6, and also have no DPFE sensor or harness connector for it, and no extra vacuum lines hanging around. The Haynes manual is no help at all. Truck runs fine except for a vibration at idle and poor gas mpg. I will figure this out or die trying!

It hesitated/stumbled a little, check engine light came on so I check it. I used a scan tool from Advanced Auto Parts.

Are the hoses left to left and right to right or do they cross over each other?

I'm glad it helped! I hate vehicle problems. I have over 275k miles on my truck now.
Thanks for the video. I have a 08 f150 4.6. With a p0405 code. Would this cause that code as well! Thanks!
A DPFE faulty code would be a P1401
what were symptoms? was truck running rough? Thanks
Check engine light.
I replaced this on a 2003 because I broke one of the vacum ports doing spark plugs. Now it has erratic idle and stalls.

Advance Auto Parts will help you with fuses
It would sure help if you would explain what a DPFE sensor is or does. Better title is " solve a P0401 code".
I replace this but my light still on
What is the check engine light code?
i have an 01 f150 4.6 and i don't see anything like that on mine....mine must have a different setup...damit
Look for two hoses coming out of the sensor with an electrical connector, it might be half the size on your model.
