Every time I watch Top 10 Key Issues of any character I know that I would not have any of these issues, but luckily I have two #9's GL#48 with me and am glad that I have it, personally my favorite book is GL Vol 3 #49 just because of the cover with nomad Hal wearing all the Green Lanterns ring. Love this segment and am waiting for more.

Once again, gotta give it to you guys - the top 10 Green Lanterns you two selected were for the most part solid, but remember I'm old school and I have to call your attention to one of the issues you highlighted (great job!) and SIX that you missed. So you showed the first Bronze Age book GL #76 - this was the first of the amazing run by Denny O'Neil and Neil Adams and just so you know the reason it was so amazing was this was the issue that brought all super-heroes into socioeconomics - sure Marvel had tried to do that before but in this issue the interaction between GL and the African American was so touching this issue is remembered for that amazing scene which basically demonstrates that despite all of his amazing powers/constructs, GL was out of touch with the fellow man. Ok, that's solid history. Now, GL/GA #85 by O'Neal/Adams was not approved by the comic code b/c it was about drug addiction (GA's ward Speedy! was mainlining heroin); then the last O'Neal/Adams GL/GA was #89 when GL is literally crucified with a savior to the tail of a plane and you can see the blood pouring from his wrist as he tears himself away. Finally, the greatest GL story EVER TOLD was a graphic novel called WILL WORLD - you have to read that if you haven't - illustrated by the late Seth Fisher and written by J M DeMatteis (incredible writer of Kraven's Last Hunt, Moon Shadow, Blood: A Tale, Justice League International (with Keith Giffen), Dr. Fate (also with Giffen), Dr. Strange: Into Shamballa) - Will World cannot be missed Gem! And finally, the creme-de-la-creme, a trilogy of amazing Alan Moore Green Lantern short stories that have got to be experienced: Mogo Doesn't Socialize (with Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame!), Tygers (with Kevin O'Neil of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fame!), and "In Blackest Night" (with future Fables writer Bill Willingham who drew this story)
Note on the volumes. Hal Jordan run is actually Vol 2. This includes Tomar Re, Killowog, Guy Gardner and John Stewart. It was renamed Green Lantern/Green Arrow from 76 for a while, then back to Green Lantern, then Green Lantern Corps from 201 up to 224 when it ended to make GL the lead in Action Comics Weekly.

Absolutely love Green Lantern! Such an amazing character and the mythos keeps expanding! Got a question for the community. I was fortunate to pick up a showcase 22 a while back. The book itself is original and in beautiful condition, no staining on any of the pages, nothing cut out or missing. The only thing is that the cover is a facsimile cover. How much do you think it's worth?
