Geoff Johns Green Lantern is my favorite single run that i have read! I almost did t read it because i thought GL was kinda dumb. Johns def proved my very very wrong! Thanx for the vid Omar!
I’ve thought about picking up GL omnis by Geoff Johns, but it seems like there’s so much stuff missing. Is it enough to just read the omnis to get the whole Johns’ run? Can’t understand if all the comics that you mentioned are necessary reads.
Near Mint Condition it seems really odd that they haven’t done them to be honest. The series is so integral to Geoff Johns run that it makes sense to have it in omnibus as well.
Thanks Omar for this highly educational video. I have some of this material in the DC Graphic Novels Collection sold as OHC specials but am missing GL: Brightest Day & War of the GL's. I am VERY tempted to go for the 3 Green Lantern Geoff John's Omnis and I see they're still in print. They look beautiful but that's a deep rabbit hole. Looking forward to part 3. Thanks again mate. 😊
If you had to recommend me this omnibus, which one would you say it's better i should get first, the blackest night omnibus and brightest day or those geoff johns 3 volumes omnibus of green lantern,I can't decide and I'm relatively new to green lantern,I know basics and other justice league tales but never been immersed into the lanterns and I'm considering either buying the 3 green lantern volumes or the blackest night and brightest day omnis, what would you recommend?
Definitely the Geoff Johns one so you can get a proper feel for the characters, then after you've read through them all you'll be attached enough for Blackest Night and Brightest Day to mean a lot to you like it did to me
I have ordered vol 1 to 3 Jeff johns green omnibus after gem 💎 mint said worth a pick up I can tell it’s going to great will get the black next month 😊😊👍👍👍

And, before I forget, I STILL wish that DC would put a damn table of contents at the front or the full dress of the covers in their Omnis. It's not that hard to do. Incredibly helpful dude, getting psyched for my GL read-through... ;) Pretty pleased with myself for picking up the Brightest Day Omni in the wild for a 60% discount, only a few months ago!

So I only need the first green lantern omnibus and blackest night omnibus to understand the whole story? I heard blackest night is the best story. I also know from research that there's a lot of green lantern stories and don't want any unnecessary content until after I read blackest night. Hey, Omar! I’m debating picking up the three GL omnis from the video. How is the binding? Did it give you too much trouble?
Not really. Tighter than if your use to Marvel omnis. But they hold up
I've heard sinestro corps war is the best GL story going.........do yous think this is the case?
For me? Absolutely . Even though most people would say Blackest Night is the best.
@@NearMintCondition I've got blackest night 10th anniversary edition and it certainly didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. Now looking for another jumping on point
l think geoff johns is the best writer of green lantern
I agree. Completely.
Is giving it a heart considered replying? Of so, I always get a reply. Is actual text considered a reply? Then I never got a reply from Omar.
Actual Reply is considered a reply. I think by now you know I always reply, even when you critizie my wonderful brain. :) REPLIED!
They make it complicated man why don't they follow omnibus 1 until the end
Becasue... I really don't have an answer to that. :)
i´ve been trying to grab those GL and GLC, but even used, some of them are hard to find and expensive. on other stuff, bro, stop killing Ivans name. He´s brazilian, he has a portuguese descendent name, we don´t accentuate the "I", and it´s Reis not Reyes. :D keep on rockin'
Reis! I had no idea he had Portugese descent. Thank you.
