No new OPR map? We've asked for that for years. We (or at least I) NEVER asked for console play. As a long time player, I never asked for hundreds of cut scenes, that even many of the new players just skipped. We didn't ask for a built in Aimbot or to screw over the stamina system. So NO, we aren't getting what we asked for.
Enjoyed the video. Glad to see the balanced view point. Something I’ll point out, I believe they did announce season 5 wasn’t ending in July. I think it is extended until October when Aeternum releases.
Changing to ARGP for me means that the game will keep the mmo aspect, but probably mostly of what comes will be more solo oriented due to the low level of players to do things in group. In my opinion pvp will get a lot less attention than before.
@@MarcosPic1982 I agree, I think content moving forward will be geared to a more solo-able experience with less emphasis on groups. I do think PvP will get more attention, but I think it will be Open World PvP vs Wars/OPR/3v3… specifically in the new PvP Zone. I think they’re going to HAVE to spend time tuning it.
@@RegularWater your character and gear all stay, but there is a GS Increase to 725. It’s really the same game, just a rebrand as it expands to other platforms
@@av3m0rt3m if GS increase to 725 did we must to farm new gear again? Or later there will be items like umbral shard which allow you to upgrade GS your current gear
They listened to the pvers. Not once to the pvp players and it shows. You can only pve the same fucking monster so many times before you get ultra bored.
dont try to put any weight off this devs..they fucked up whole game thats what happens when some throws money at you to make something and u get paid regrardless the succes the product has.. i mean add ing another boring ass dungeon to the game is adding contnet for these guy.. they ruined what could be a really good MMO
The rebranding is to fool new players into joining. The starting experience is quite good, that will hook them in at the first. The endgame and PVP are horrible. By then it will be too late. New World works heavily on the sunken cost fallacy. ECR, one of the dumbest, most boring pieces of "content" was only born because people had to push watermark and loot elite chests. The easiest way to do that is just zerg high level open world zones. The devs took that as emergent gameplay when it was a necessity for the players...now they include new elite PoI in new zones knowing people will just zerg it...SMH Don't waste your time or money on this game people. 3k hours here, learn from me...
PvE players were all that was left in New World because they said they were PvE focused. Then they found out that it was the PvE players who were toxic against the devs. So PvE players are just as toxic. As far as a waist of time? AGS has been producing PvE content no stop since the beginning and still PvE players wants more. AGS realized they waisted their time. New World revamp will fix that with more PvP content.

Just curious, so our gear like weapon and more can still be use in NW aethernum? Or it'll reset our progress again back from lv 1
