Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 16 and the 2021 Twelve Days of Zentangle series!
Tangle along with Maria as she and Rick guide you through lesson in the Project Pack No. 16 series.
You can view the introduction video to this series here: • Zentangle Project Pack...
It has become an annual Zentangle tradition for us to celebrate the holiday season with a series we call The Twelve Days of Zentangle. For twelve consecutive days, we will deliver daily tangling lessons, guiding you through the steps to create festive tangled works of art that are all part of the same theme.
This Zentangle series offers us a moment to pause and reflect on the past year. As the year unfolded, we hope you were able to lean on your Zentangle practice and focus on the beautiful things that came through. Together we will in-crease our skills while navigating this part of our journey one stroke at a time. In this year-end series, we will be looking closely between the layers and folds of our Zentangle practice. As we score some new tools for our tangling toolbox, we will dig into some creative, tangled ways to celebrate and illuminate your Zentangle art. We will work with dimensionality and play with illusions.
Upload your work to the Zentangle Mosaic App or other social media with the hashtag #PP16Day11 and #12DaysofZentangle2021

Maria, love this Zentangle. I call my Zentangle’s , Zentango, I have a friend who’s from Argentina, and I give Zentangle classes from my home, and that is how she named them.

I add a bit of essential oil to a spare tile on my desk to enhance my focus. Adding it to the black tile would prevent staining the design.

What a beautiful thing you created! I'm thinking of making one of those, then putting a little rope before gluing the paper together, so I will be able to hang it in my car.

The shape in the center may be called an astroid (not to be confused with asteroid).

If it’s Well inside of Fengle, would that make it Wengle? ;)
Thanks for the fun project! I’m loving what I am seeing of everyone’s interpretations of these 3D projects on the waterfall. So diverse and creative as always!

I would Mod-Podge the tile first, before folding to keep the lines and colors crisp…
