Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 16 and the 2021 Twelve Days of Zentangle series!
Tangle along with Maria as she and Rick guide you through the 7th lesson in the Project Pack No. 16 series.
You can view the introduction video to this series here: • Zentangle Project Pack...
It has become an annual Zentangle tradition for us to celebrate the holiday season with a series we call The Twelve Days of Zentangle. For twelve consecutive days, we will deliver daily tangling lessons, guiding you through the steps to create festive tangled works of art that are all part of the same theme.
This Zentangle series offers us a moment to pause and reflect on the past year. As the year unfolded, we hope you were able to lean on your Zentangle practice and focus on the beautiful things that came through. Together we will in-crease our skills while navigating this part of our journey one stroke at a time. In this year-end series, we will be looking closely between the layers and folds of our Zentangle practice. As we score some new tools for our tangling toolbox, we will dig into some creative, tangled ways to celebrate and illuminate your Zentangle art. We will work with dimensionality and play with illusions.
Upload your work to the Zentangle Mosaic App or other social media with the hashtag #PP16Day07 and #12DaysofZentangle2021

It is always calming to listen to your conversation while enjoying the development of the tangle. The energy is so positive in a time that I need it. I'm totally grateful to both of you for sharing this gift. Thank you.

Just discovered Zentangle and have been watching a few videos. Pretty cool patterns are being made. Will have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing the patterns. Oh, by the way, the tool you are using to make impressions in the paper, the wood tool with the large and small round tips on opposite ends, is called a STYLUS. I've been using one for decades to trace patterns onto my folkart projects. I even use it occasionally to paint dots on my projects. It's very useful for many things.

I get frustrated doing Zentangle because they always seem to land up as ZIA's. I look at the motifs and always seem to see something "beyond".

please forgive my ignorance. I don't mean to offend. what's the point of this? what do you do with these when you have completed them? are they meant to be a complete project or are they a part of a larger one? they look like beautiful coasters but beyond that I see no use for them unless they are compiled into a larger piece. In my mind they are too small physically to have any visual impact from more than a foot away. someone please explain.
