Such a great van you have although the bongo is on the smaller side of camper van it shows you can still take everything you need and be comfortable at the same time
I'm in the market for a bongo, been looking for weeks now for the 'right one'! Torn between side conversion or rear, I like both, they each have pros and cons for me but I think the biggest con on the rear would be the sleep comfort (lumpy chairs as opposed to rnr flat bed).
Oh I know how tough it is to decide - I’ve changed my mind and layout a few times! Yes the original benches can be lumpy - some people use a mattress topper with success? I’ve taken my benches out completely now and had a pull out side bed (the latest video - not sure if you’ve seen it yet) Good luck finding the right van 😊
I'm just short of 6ft, i went for a rear-end kitchen as i can layflat and fit with ease, i think iwth a side conversion i would lose horizontal space which i really like as two of us can sit in the back comfortably. Get a good overlay matress and the lumpy seats wont make a blind bit of difference.
I have side conversion and I think both options have their Pros and Cons. We tend to sleep in a Drive Away Awing now but can sleep inside together, all be it a bit cosy! Alternatively I go up in the roof on a 3" Thick Memory Foam mattress with my wife below on the same. Loads of room for both of us then. My side conversion has loads of storage and I have a twin burner hob, Sink, Fridge and a Propex gas heater.
I love your little dog ! its so nice to see doggo out with you enjoying your time together :)
Yeah she is great company and a good hot water bottle when it’s cold 😂
