  • Opening up a booster brick of Icons of the Realms: Sand & Stone miniatures by WizKids.
This booster brick contains eight booster boxes, each of which contain four random miniatures. The figures are scaled for tabletop role playing and come prepainted and ready to play out of the box (not display quality paint jobs, but plenty good to get the point across at the table). This set contains figures based on creatures that come from desert or rocky and cavernous locations.

Nice to have a few Giant Vultures. They're handy to have a sneak encounter if you have a party that doesn't clean up after a battle. With how bad they'll smell in a desert they'll get attacked by a lot of carrion eaters. I would have to repaint a few of the models though. Some are either too thick or need a different colour to them. Like the scorpion could either be a more light tan yellow colour, black, or burnt umber.

I'm generally fine with the Wizkids paint jobs - at least for just standard encounters - but they definitely look mass produced. This is the 3rd different giant scorpion miniature, so i don't mind that it is a different color than the others, which were both on the darker side.

Hello Adam, very cool!! I enjoy your miniatures unboxing videos, and I'm a bit jealous of the jungle and desert monsters. I could use a few of those myself. Especially the giant scorpion...that would have come in handy in a "The Bright Desert" (Greyhawk) one-shot I ran for my players last year. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for watching! It is actually the third different giant scorpion miniature that I have gotten at this point; they've been in a few sets.

Thank you! I have that, but would not have thought to look for it there.

Why bad quality video, 1080 would be better..
