The singer Austin Carlisle (no longer in the band) now has the disease that look his mother's life. He has had heart procedures, many surgeries, cancelled tours, many many ups and downs. Great reaction. A good one to checkout is "When a demon defiles a witch" by Whitechapel. Phil Bozeman the lead vocalist had a very messed up childhood losing both of his parents.
One of the best concert memories I have came from this song. It was warped tour, oh I don’t know, 8 years ago? The song ended and asked to sing the ending one more time. There’s music playing all around you, but all you could hear was a couple hundred people screaming that at the top of their lungs with Austin. Still gives me goosebumps!

Hope you'll check some of them out. DRUGS - "Sex Life" and "If you think this song is about you it probably is" Sleeping with Sirens - "If I'm James Dean, you're Audrey Hepburn" and "If You Can't Hang" Pierce the Veil - "Caraphernelia" and "Bulletproof Love" and "Today I Saw The Whole World" A Day to Remember - "Mr. Highway's thinking about the end" and "2nd Sucks" Like Moths to Flames - "GNF" and "You'll Burn" and "Nowhere Left to Sink" and "All That You Lost" Chiodos - "The words Best Friend become redefined" and "Baby you wouldn't last a minute on the creek"
I saw om&m live at warped tour and saw Austin. ive been listening to this song for years and only for the first time have i looked up the lyrics to it. Ive never been more broken over a song in my life, it really hits home. Wrathchild1995 well that’s your opinion that’s invalid to me💁🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@Wrathchild1995 the resistance was a great album
This bands the reason I'm still alive ❤️
Finally of mice and men! React to would you still be there
OMAM has never been the same without Shay and is a completely new band now without Austin. THIS era with Shay and Austin was the best.
Need more of mice & men. The album The Flood is an absolute masterpiece. And their latest album was actually really good too.
Wage War - Youngblood. The band wrote the song for a teenager that committed suicide who was a fan of theirs.
Great reaction. A good one to checkout is "When a demon defiles a witch" by Whitechapel. Phil Bozeman the lead vocalist had a very messed up childhood losing both of his parents.
C'mon Alex, been saying it for like a year now. Volumes - edge of the earth. Badass song. Right up your alley. Thanks brother keep it up
Bring me the horizon - The House of Wolves, The Comedown, Antivist,...
Ice Nine Kills - Thank God It's Friday, Stabbing In The Dark, IT is the end
Anything from INK. Even Alice is slapping lol
yo!!!! how good is house of wolves!!! but lets be real.... diamonds arent forever is where its at ;)
This song never gets old to me, every time I listen to it it’s like the first time ❤
Thanks for the video bro
One of the best concert memories I have came from this song. It was warped tour, oh I don’t know, 8 years ago? The song ended and asked to sing the ending one more time. There’s music playing all around you, but all you could hear was a couple hundred people screaming that at the top of their lungs with Austin. Still gives me goosebumps!
If you like that kinds of stuff you should check out White Light by The Ghost Inside. It's about the Singers younger brother who just unexpectedly passed away in his sleep a couple of years ago.
Yesss yesssss Alex listen to this
damn, you can feel the pain in his screams. Simply an amazing song.
Check out "Imminence - infectious", you won't be disappointed
Es una de canciones preferidas. El violin, la guitarra se complementan vorazmente
This song is EVERYTHING! That violin soothes my soul and makes every hair stand on end.
Another you - of mice and men is their most emotionally deep song. Austin cried when performing it live
This song is just another level. I remember when I first heard it, I said the same thing...OH MY GOD.
First time I heard this I cried, uncontrollably.
Good song choice 👍
This album STILL bangs to this day.
You Wear A Crown But You’re No King- Blessthefall
BAD OMENS- DETHRONE....just a badass song lol
Motionless in White Another Life
It's a great song!, it would be good for the channel
I love that you're finally reacting to some of my favorite songs from back in the day between this & king for a day, here are some things I think you might like from bands that saw their peak between 2007 and 2013 in this post hardcore kind of area. Hope you'll check some of them out.
DRUGS - "Sex Life" and "If you think this song is about you it probably is"
Sleeping with Sirens - "If I'm James Dean, you're Audrey Hepburn" and "If You Can't Hang"
Pierce the Veil - "Caraphernelia" and "Bulletproof Love" and "Today I Saw The Whole World"
A Day to Remember - "Mr. Highway's thinking about the end" and "2nd Sucks"
Like Moths to Flames - "GNF" and "You'll Burn" and "Nowhere Left to Sink" and "All That You Lost"
Chiodos - "The words Best Friend become redefined" and "Baby you wouldn't last a minute on the creek"
Living Colour- Cult of Personality
I saw om&m live at warped tour and saw Austin. I cried cause I loved that band with bmth ptv etc. Those bands helped me recover, helped me grow up and have someone I could just listen to and feel better. That I'm not alone. This song makes me cry cause I hear Austin's pain and he's an inspiration to me.
“Drag the Lake” by The Amity Affliction
I liked the video before it started that's how much I love of mice and men. You definitely need to react to them more!!!!! Keep up the great work Alex.
Yess!!! Of mice and men is awesome!!! Listen to their song "Would You Still Be There"!!
First Of Mice & Men song I ever heard 😉
Second and Sebring is one of my favorite of Mice & Men song!!! To my luck I got to see them before Austins departure and after. Both Austin and Aaron have done a fantastic job as lead singers!
He's no longer the vocalist of OM&M, Austin is suffering from a genetic disease transmitted from his mom (she already died)... Hope you react to Blessthefall.
Where have you been son. This band is the bees knees. I always scream this song. It’s the best.
You should check out Upon a Burning Body - Reinventing Hatred!
Great song
Almost crying except when I noticed I had captions activated
"This is not what it is, it's just burger skill"
I started to laugh too much 😂😂😂😂
Fit for a King - When everything means nothing
That song has helped me through a few bad times. I'm glad I lived to see you react to one of the deepest songs out there.🤘
Thank god for metalcore
I actually know Austin the singer he goes to my church! After he got Marfan syndrome everytime he would perform it would take a huge toll on his health so he ended up having to leave the band. He then actually became saved (became Christian) and started going to my church. He is such an amazing guy with an amazing testimony.
So glad I was able to see Of Mice and Men live when Austin was still in the band. Although they are still good without him, some songs just won't be the same
ive been listening to this song for years and only for the first time have i looked up the lyrics to it. Ive never been more broken over a song in my life, it really hits home. January 1st of 2017 my dad went into the hospital (just 6 days after i turned 14) and he was there for almost 11 months before eventually passing away. He missed all of my highschool years and the struggle that was, me getting my first job, my graduation and so much more, this song does a beautiful job of putting what that feels like into words. nothing shy of a 10/10
