not that Architects hard riffs are bad, but good ol' Killswitch style leads are good too, and you're right, Of Mice and Men and The Devil Wears Prada do that

Glad to hear them try new things with different sounds. When I heard Gravedancer with that weird string instrument I thought they were going to experiment more. Was kinda disappointed they didn’t take it much further on their last album. Hoping they continue to try new things 🤘
People may or may not like the bridge choice and the ending, but this song really made me get into metalcore (or metal in general) because it was quite friendly as an introductory track.
It had the chunk, and slapped hard in places but it was chill as well. Which is why it's a pretty good introduction to the genre.

@@R-SXX id hope so cause it feels pretty weak on its own but i don't see that being the case cause its a full length song, the longest I've seen intro songs be in metal is 2 minutes, atleast with anything in 2010s metalcore.

While I do agree, there was actually no sax in this song; almost certain that’s a string instrument.
