    Can you just walk in to these places or did you need to book online before arrival / in advance?

    • @lenny.winter
      @lenny.winter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some of these we booked, some we walked in. The steak place, Tonarello, 6 course place, rooftop terrace and hotel bar we reserved, the rest just walked in

    Hi, don't you miss Shanghai?

    • @lenny.winter
      @lenny.winter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shanghai is still my favorite city but my life there was very different. I was a student in a language course for a year before starting my bachelors degree, so the workload was manageable, no obligations, and plenty of time to have fun and explore the city. Now I am focusing more on career opportunities and building a future for myself, and I don’t think I would be where I am today (in terms of career and finances) had I stayed there

    Nothing personal Lenny
    But there are too many foreigners who arrives here and they think they're able to give reccomandations...
    My city is becoming a dysneyworld...
    La Piadineria is nothing to do with roman food, piadine are from the Emilia Romagna region and the Piadineria is a brand, nothing home made... And they're always the same...
    All the others are touristic places, each and everyone of this channels done by non locals highlights them as to be originals...
    Trastevere is the quintessence of dysneyworld... You rarely con find italian cooks and italian waiters able to even explain how the recipies are made...
    Terre di Siena again it's a brand...
    Campo de Fiori, Trastevere etc. We romans don't even go there anylonger...

    Hi princess good morning to you

    Rome has more terrible restaurants than any European capital. For someone who appears to be Italian the guide is very naïve about Roman gastronomy.
