Your channel is wonderfully refreshing, pun intended. Other channels are posting the same thing literally every single day (and I end up judging them harshly because of it). Anyone who is a regular here knows that you have been wrestling with TH-cam and the fragrance community in general. This is my long winded way of saying that I appreciate your struggle, your journey, and am pleasantly enthralled with your continued content. Ross made a comment that I hear all the time that I feel compelled to correct. He asked if there was Bourbon Vanilla in the Vertus fragrance because he smelled a “booziness”. Bourbon Vanilla does not contain any alcohol nor does it smell like bourbon. The name refers to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean formerly known as Bourbon Island where the vanilla pods are grown.

I literally just left Nordstrom, and smelled H24 Parfum for the first time…I love it!! I need to get a bottle.
Nice! It surprised me at first sniff.
bois imperial is my most complimented scent so far ... and its beast mode in projection and longevity ...
I like first reaction videos. It was interesting to see how Ross reacted to Bois Imperial. His description was extremely accurate. It's definitely a more wearable Ganymede. I'm a fan of both versions of H24.

They are spot on about Vanilla Oud..very sultry and kinda smoky and it lasts..that oud is front and center

Man i regret not copping that vertous sample in my last order because i generally do not like vanilla! Seeing this, I gotta get it next time i get decants
I smelled h24 edp at Nordstrom skin and paper and felt thankful I didn't blind buy it.. gonna have to revisit it again to see if I get the praise
Ross was pretty on point. What I notice is that many reviewers tend to be way off on blind scents, but Ross held it down.
Bois imperial reminds me of how Cacharel used to smell back in the 80's, in fact it smells identical however I had a bottle of Cacharal a couple of years back and my findings were the same as what others were saying, it smells nothing like it did back in the day.
Come on guys ... get a room already ... oh wait you did 🤣.

Oud Symphony is freaking amazing. They just released Sweet Tonka which resembles Pure Tonka from Mugler.

Bourbon vanilla has nothing to do with bourbon... bourbon is a former name for the islands Madagascar and reunion where the vanilla originates from

Vertus has a fragrance called Monarch and it is similar to Roja Reckless and i would love to hear your take on it if u can try it.

I really enjoyed H24 until it broke me out into hives and an allergic reaction that I cannot begin to describe in full detail. I had to start carrying an epi pen and go through a gauntlet of dermatology testing. Sadly I do not spray cologne to skin anymore after the scare with H24 not just once but twice(because I had to be sure) I wound up gifting the bottle away and came to a semi compromise with my dermatologist to only spray colognes on my clothes, so far so good.
You have to do what you have to do to be smelling good bro. 🤝

Personally, I think H24 EdT is terrible and the EdP is a bit less unpleasant. Induced headaches aside, both _do_ manage to set themselves apart. I will give them that. In contrast, I have other scents with metallic notes and I like those.
I wonder how close, if at all, Vanilla Oud is to Montale's Dark Vanilla.
With all the woods, I wonder what Justin and Ross would think of Bon Parfumeur 701. Eucalyptus and cypress and other good stuff.

Ohh I'll have to check bois imperial out, since ganymede is one of my all time favs. How would you say it compares to ganymede, besides being "easier to wear"/more approachable? I have no issues with ganymede and feel like it already is pretty approachable and easy going! Still worth checking out? Or not so much since there is an overlap between bois imperial and ganymede? Might Order a sample

When they get together they always form a bomb. This guys are the two best.

Am I the only one that thinks H24 is junk? EDT better than EDP but it just feels super lazy and cheap... I mean... Come on, Hermes... If Dior can do Dior Homme Parfum... And Chanel can do Gabrielle (both in their MAIN lines, not the high end lines) and you come with H24? Boo.
H24 EDT disappointed me for a while (blind bought it), but as I wore it, it grew on me. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s at least a bit different from the norm of mainstream male-marketed scents today. It is fairly simplistic for sure, but it is also not exactly like anything else out there.
And I hear you about Chanel and Dior…but in terms of innovative releases, what have they done lately? They seem to be riding the flanker train like everyone else. DHP and Fahrenheit Parfum were some of the last truly special, standout releases they gave us (in regards to their main lines)…but that was almost 9 years ago.
I think that Hermes, Cartier, and a few others are the only ones trying to give us fragrances that aren’t following all the trends.
Just my opinion!

But Hermes hasn't released in ANY of their lines in ages so this was a big deal (Dior has had releases in their high end line and Chanel had Le Lion which was... No surprise.. gorgeous).. so the expectations were high for me... And H24 was.. to say it was boring would be an understatement... I thought Voyage was a bit lackluster but not compared to this... Lol
