- Professional video for the song "A Eulogy For the Living Lost" from the CD "Into Night's Requiem Infernal." Filmed in Florida with the same director who created "Autumn Reflection," Tony Myles and Cage XXI have created a vision of a post apocalyptic television broadcast. This unique look was filmed with the custom made "Wartooth" camera.
All have long hair, cool. Even for metalbands it's becomming a rarity. I'm a baldy myself, but i do appreciate an all longhaired band.
I love how you guys contrasted the growls with the acoustic guitar and then the clean vocals with heavy drumming and electric guitar.
Its a very interesting idea and I enjoyed it a lot.

Don't know where my head was at. Finally played Novembers Doom for my brother(my roommate). Instant fan. Loves the contrast in vocals and as well as contrast in soft melodies and brutal shredding. Still one of my favorite tracks.

This one is eerie. Novembers Doom always had a very killer way of delivering dark emotions. They always had some Gothic atmospheres to their stuff. I own The Knowing when it came out in 2002. Chicago's best kept secret.

Yeah fuck blastbeats.Slow is mostly heavier and if you play a normal fast drumbeat when the rest of the song is mostly slow or mid paced its much more intense!
Trust me, after Agalloch and this band, I have changed my perception towards American metal bands, else we only knew through Slipknot, LOG and Metallica.

I wanna say along the lines of Mikeal Akerfeldt of Opeth and Bloodbath with John Tardy style. Novembers Doom is their own thoough. Lyrics are fuckin awesome too. Looked them up online. Earlier today I was listening to Draconian's Turning Season Within and after the 60th or so listen to the album I realized that the spoken word parts of the album are Paul, at which point I put on "Into Nights Requiem Infernal" and went on an incredible aural journey!

sure, when I get this album, I listend to "when desesperation fills the void" 20 times in one day!!!. even the sound change a little bit, this "doomish" influence is always present and I think tha's why the band is so fucking awesome

actuall the lead singer has 2 rare spinal diseases.
which 1 makes the other worse. it's all in the book that explains the lyrics to all of their albums written at that time (from the 1st album all the way to "The Novella Reservoir") it's really a good book. especially if you're like myself and love to know what the song means. i find it gives one greater appreciation for the song.

@sombergod99 I wouldn't count Type-O as being doom typically, but they play a lot of different styles and they definitely have songs that I'd call doom without issue. Not trying to argue with you or nothin', just saying.
If you can find it anywhere, it might be hard now with mediafire being pretty much over, I have a suggestion, check out a band called Source of Deep Shadows. Last I checked there was a video or two up here.
never cared for the 'filming a band play in dark room' style of music video. the sound and subject matter deserve some more interesting visual accompaniment
but it's a good track from a great album. chords in the verse are beautiful
