Before I was a reseller, I walked into a Goodwill outlet, looked around for 3 minutes, and walked out. It seemed like a big mess. Several months later, I went back and stayed a whole 10 minutes. I've never been back. It's about 20 minutes away from my home. I might try it again one day, but I have no plans to go at this time. Congratulations on your good sales. The Halloween sweater was adorable! I'm still on track for my 10 listings a day. It's tough for me, but I'm writing this on 8/8, and I can say that I've listed 80 items so far in the month of August. This is a huge accomplishment for me! I have you to thank for suggesting we do an August challenge! I'm positive I wouldn't have pushed myself like this without this goal. Thanks, Jenn! ❤
Love the bins! I’ve been going for 18 years. Indianapolis was my first bin’s experience. I miss the one off 86th street. I was at Franklin one 2 weeks ago. And I found 2 gold rings! Maybe I’ll see what you one day. Happy reselling!
Hi Jenn, you popped up on my feed so I watched, loved that Halloween vest 🤩. Thanks for sharing. I have a new bins 5 mins from my house and trying not to visit is so hard. But my favorite one is 2 hours away so I don’t get there very often. Any way, I look forward to watching more of your videos😊
I have been to several Goodwill Outlets and the experiences have been different. The one I visit in Delaware most often has been good for the most part, but there have been some slow days. Often I can find great things, even when the bins have been out for a while (in fact that is my favorite time to search, I don't like the mad rush). Different outlets have different rules, for example the one I visit most often changes bins at a certain time and while they change you can't have a cart so you either have to check out your items or put them back (so knowing what time the bins change would help you be ready). I'm hoping to treat myself to a bins day next week.
I’ve been to the three Minnesota bins locations around the twin cities. They’re about 1.5 hours from me. I work full time so resell on the side for extra. :) I have a huge death pile, so no sourcing for me for a loooong time! Haha
I w been staying caught up and throwing an extra few in where I can (makes up for when I'm busy on the weekends). I've also decided to cross list to Mercari too. Slowly getting everything shared over there.
I'm still behind, though I did get one listing up today. It was a nice, sunny day today so I went for a drive to a Salvation Army 45 minutes away. Then I took a needed nap! Rain starts today and continues tomorrow, so the plan is to bless the mess tonight and to work on my listings most of Friday. I love the Bins! Mine is 2.5 hours away. My last vacation, I hit the Bins three times. Came away with a full truckload for about $105. My next vacay is later this month. Picking up a friend pre-dawn and heading to the Bins. Thinking we'll need to skip to the seaside for a respite and lunch. Shhh! It's a surprise!
Love this Halloween sweater so cute! Great pick up! I got my 5 listings done today, actually I did 9! Yeah. I had 2 sales too. My son has a tube channel called dadsgonelive. He hands out items to the homeless here and follows the police scanners too. I also made 20 snack packs for my son to hand out tonight. He has a channel on ytube and Facebook. I’m so proud of him! Anyhow, I’m going to work on my drafts to get them ready to list for tomorrow. I’m super happy about being ahead on my listing goal!
The closest GW outlet to me is a 5 hour drive in SLC…so I haven’t had the opportunity 😢. I have a local thrift store with color tags that change weekly with .99 floor, so fortunately I do have other good places to source.
Could you do a brief summary of how you go about getting ebay supplies with store discount? Thanks for the content, I am still on my goal for August listing goal.
I have been reselling for about a year. The closest outlet bins is about 2 hours and I have been about 4 times. I don’t love it because it just never seems to have close to anything really worth selling. I’m amazed at what other sellers pull out of their bins but mine seems to be junk. I have only found a few things even worth the time to list. Not my favorite , I would rather go when they promote the 1.25 color of the week discount at Goodwill. Still usually nothing special but maybe some 15-25 bread and butter items. I have much better luck just getting items for under 10. and flipping them for 35-50. I sell 2000-3000 a month just on Poshmark but thinking about adding eBay but I’m still alittle intimidated about the process on eBay.
I did my new listing for today. We have a Goodwill Outlet about 35 minutes away. I enjoy going but seldom do. My husband and youngest daughter is always with me and they run around for about 10 minutes and say there is nothing there. And usually I have only looked through one or two bins at that point so I get frustrated.
I was at the bins Monday and locked my keys in my car. My husband had to drive over an hour to bring me another key. Whoopsie. 😂😂
Oh no! I am glad you were able to be rescued!

The bins are not for everyone. And that's ok!
Great job!
That ice cream top was a good pick up. Rainbow color made it even better. Sometimes brands don’t matter. Great if there aren’t any more listed.
Yeah, that was crazy!
I love the bins. I have listed ten or more items every day this week. 👍
Nice!

That would be fun!
I love your shirt! Also that halloween sweater is amazing.
Thanks!

Thanks for watching! Wow, with a bins 5 minutes away, I would be there every day.
Love the Halloween sweater vest!! Just finished my 5!😅
Yay!

Yeah! Get through that death pile! You can do it!

Love the bins. Going tomorrow. Love saving the things and making some $. I've listed everyday but did have to lower my goal to 5 a day. Yes balance.
Yes, balance!

That sounds great!
I’ve been busy canning so listing is weak. But I’m selling!!
That's great! And canning is productive too!
Hi Jenn.❤
Hello!
Closest bins to me is 2.5 hrs one way. I have only been to it once a few months ago and it was interesting only got a few things.
It is an interesting experience for sure!

I started on ebay, so it felt less daunting. It can be intimidating for sure. But you can do it!
I love the Bins! The closest one to me is an hour away sadly.
That's a trek.
Hello reseller friend :-)
Hi, friend!
That would be frustrating. That's just not enough time.
I unfortunately don’t have any bins around me. The closest bins to me is 2hrs away each way.
That's a long trip.
❤❤❤
💕💕💕
I have never been to a bins. Hopefully soon, but nothing is close to me.
Bummer!
Me again Margaret😂. If you get a return do you pay for shipping or make the buyer pay for shipping? Thanks
I do buyer paid returns.
I live in GR Mi and we don’t have Bins
Bummer!
Why can’t you use priority mailers for eBay? Do you use Amazon boxes to ship???
priority mail boxes can only be used for priority mail shipping service
That's really great!
My goodwill is not worth the time to go to. They never have anything worth listing.
That's a bummer!
