You somehow popped up in my feed, and I'm sure glad you did. Wonderful room, excellent organization of your sewing needs. I too have been sewing since I was a kid, and I remember patterns costing $0.50. And I too collect vintage patterns; actually, anything pertaining to fabric, sewing and yarn (I crochet, too). Thank you, and I subscribed!
This just showed up in my feed, new follower here. Lovely craft room, well organised. Love your dress too and wondered if you bad a pattern you can recommend or similar please?
Hi Linda, so pleased you enjoyed it ( I’m a Newbie TH-camr!) My dress is a McCalls pattern that came free with a magazine! I will search my patterns and get back to you with a number. I know it was a best seller! Thank you for your lovely comment and for subscribing! Ashley
Enjoyed the tour! Especially the use of vintage storage pieces. I do the same in my craft room: i can justify keeping a sweet antique piece if it useful for storage/organization. You are a fashion history preserver! with your collection of patterns. Thx for sharing. And lucky you having a better half with skills!
I throughly enjoyed your sewing room tour. Absolutely loved the suitcase idea so creative. You have accomplished a very pleasant room set up. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, I love your sewing space it is so stylish. The restored pieces of furniture are just beautiful and I now need a filing cabinet! I have not got space for one in my tiny sewing room but I want one.😂 Happy sewing.
Gosh the beauty cases brought back memories for me! I had one as a girl and felt like such a lady, so sophisticated. I live in Adelaide South Australia and I don’t know where I could possibly find one of these nowadays but you’ve inspired me to try. I love that you use them to store your haberdashery and that’s what I will do as well, I have a perfect spot for them in my sewing room. So glad you popped up in my feed, have subscribed ❤️

This is my favorite sewing room tour ever!! I love your room, and thank you SO. VERY. MUCH. for not giving me motion sickness!! Also, I'm totally going to use your idea of attatching swatches to patterns-so clever!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments you have made my day. I too get motion sickness from some videos and was determined not to do too much ‘handheld’ views! So Pleased you found some inspiration. 😊

So happy this came up in my feed. Love new ( to me) channels to subscribe to. Gorgeous sewing room. I collect Vintage patterns too. Mainly Kwik Sew and New Look but I have some Style. I also have a collection of Knit Wit patterns that I actually really learnt to sew with when in my early 20's.
October 6, 2024 Maryland, USA: I'm new to your channel and it's so lovely to pop in. I love the natural light that you have and the large table below the window. I love how you use the vintage bags! I have a small, small creative space and this idea would definitely allow beauty and not clutter. I recall those luggage from my Mom. She had lovely ones and wish I had them. What a creative idea. Your dress is one that looks comfortable for around the home in the event someone pops in and looks so put together. But I can also see at the last minute going out to meet a friend.
