First off congratulations, and I wish I was sitting in your spot. I'm dreaming of the day as an older learner to have a degree. Man, this motivates me so much.
Congrats! Finished my last class 12/18 and waiting for my confetti! You're 100% correct about the time management and self motivation thing, the hardest part about WGU is being disciplined enough to sit down and actually DO the coursework. It irks me slightly the posts bragging about completing the courses in only a day or two, especially the hard ones, but I get it that people may have more time on their hands. Good luck on your Masters! Looking forward to those videos too!
Your willingness to share your experiences throughout your journey is so appreciated. Thank you for encouraging us to keep going and making this seem possible for all of us! Congratulations!
Congratulations. You are a college grad. Hope you celebrated this achievement. I keep coming back to this video to inspire me to keep going. I'm in the IT Management BA program with 3 more OA's and 3 Projects (1 PA, Portfolio, and Capstone) left. I can't lie, this s*** is not as easy as I thought it would be. I've never studied so hard in my life.
A couple of your videos have helped me quite a bit...I just passed Applied Algebra which I had put off for way too long because of how intimidated I felt. Now, I'm on the Capstone and hope to finish this month. Congratulations!
Just hopping back on here to let you know that...I got my confetti this week! Ordered a frame and I should get both of them by the end of next week. I'm also planning on going back to WGU for either the MBA or MSML in October or sooner (depending on when they let me start back again). Looking forward to seeing your MBA journey soon. Hoping all is going well. Cheers.
Congratulations! Only capstones are left for me to graduate, and I'm planning to attend the graduation ceremony in Anaheim, California, in March 2024. If you're planning to attend too, let's meet there.
Your video on financial skills for managers helped me get out of a rut. I'm also in the guard, and hearing that you're there has given me the push I needed to finish that class. Thanks for sharing your story.
I finished up at the end of june and got my confetti July 10th. Watched your videos and it helped. Thank you for making these videos. Congrats bro. We did it.
Congratulations on the graduation! And thank you for your videos. Your explanations helped me in deciding to go the same route (from BS in Accounting to BS in IT Management). Thank you!
OMG ikr! I think they just come on to share their journey to their degree and that's it. They don't want to share their whole lives lol (which is understandable)
Congratulations so your in the military already so lemme ask im 26 im considering joining the military i wanna be a officer do you advise me to enlist first or get my degree first then go straight in as a officer again congratulations on graduating
Depends. How are you paying for college? If you already have aid or grants paying your tuition I would say get your degree first. If you are paying it out of pocket I would say enlist and let the military pay for it. Good luck !
Congratulations!!!!! I’m heading into my last term at WGU starting January 2024. I’d be interested in know about your grad school admissions process. I want to do a MBA program with WGU as well. Did WGU just automatically accept you for grad school because you already completed a degree with them?
@@JB10008d so I actually just took a full time position within the Army National Guard. Did this degree help me get it? Probably. Having a bachelors surely doesn’t hurt and looks good on a resume and interview. But as far as the civilian world goes I’m not sure I have much insight on how this degree would help. But there’s alot of stories of folks landing good jobs after completing their degree.
