  • This videos explores how to pop out a minor dent from a plastic bumper on a Jeep Wrangler. Do not try this at home, not responsible if you mess it up!
Clean porous plastic trim pieces with Chemical Guys Signature Series Orange Degreaser. Dilute at least 6:1, and use it to scrub away dirt, grime, and excess wax or polish residue from plastic trim.
After the plastic is perfectly clean, use Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel to restore the deep black look and lustrous shine on trim pieces. You can also use New Look Trim Gel on tires for a deep wet look!

thanks for the idea. I drilled a 1.5 inch hole in back of bumper behind the dent and put a hose into the hole and poured boiling water into a funnel at top of hose. Beforehand I had taped the small screw hole at bottom of bumper so it would hold water. I filled it and let the water stay for about 30 seconds. I pulled out the hose and used a rounded end of broom stick and pushed out. it popped out to almost original. very pleased with results. My dent was much much bigger than urs. just fyi .

Haha “it was sentimental” . Like coming from the back of the bumper. Trying to convince my husband to do this, both corners of bumper dented.

You should try boiled water or super hot water.

Just did the same, only difference is I heated the backside of the bumper first before pushing a large Phillips screwdriver in and then heated again before cutting out more with a lock blade knife. Key also being to just heat around the outside edges of the dent not where you'll be pushing or you risk pushing right through. *Jeep wave*

There are many ways to fix something like that bumper. Isn't it fun to fix that by yourself.

Alexa March you just have to look around. A lot of people will give them away after upgrading to steel bumpers
