Took me 2hrs to take my stock out n install the skunk2, kinda a btch but doable, the motor mount is to prevent the engine from rocking back n forth, which means less flex/tension on the header runner welds where it usually cracks to those who don't have the rear mount.
Interesting. When i had my 8th gen Si I was able to have a header deliver to my house in California. But then again, that was back in 2010. Maybe things have changed. But yes it does make it hell of loud. I had to take mine off after a while. Doesn't help that the header is literally right in front of the driver.
@Seikers I don't have that car anymore. It was an 09. Fortunately, in 2019, I bought another 2009 Si with only 49k miles, one owner car, and all stock. I love this generation of civics. So fun to drive and large amount of aftermarket support. I am actually leaving this one stock. Getting too old for the xtra noise. 😄

i got that code cause i had water in my vtec solenoid plugs on the back of the motor closest to the firewall. just use electrical grease on the connections, these cars (k-series) haven been out for sometime and these plugs didn't have any connection protection so it will short the plug when water gets into it, causing the cel/ LIMP MODE LOL good luck to u guys from dtuned559
So I just bought an 8th gen si and I have the same code and same problem the code is for low voltage on the rocker arm oil pressure switch and I’m finding some weird resistance on the ground side of the pressure switch circuit

@@frankie1869 they won’t destroy it. Just reflash your car to stock, take the FLashpro off the car and take it to a state ref. It’s really dumb tho since you are told that you can’t drive your car anywhere and you have to pay to get your car inspected by a state ref. It is possible to buy the Hondata CARB flashpro but what’s the use at that point… it doesn’t let you do anything fun and your locked out of doing a lot of cool stuff.
Cali has the greatest car culture, but Cali laws are just so dam strict. Like you have to know someone to know someone, to get parts, or “pass smog”

Yes, just picked up my RSX a couple months ago. It came with DC but swapping to Sunk2 mega. Had the B-series version and loved the tone.

agreed. It would definitely be more loud if I had a nonoval muffler, however, the Spoon muffler is actually very doable!

when taking the headers out, you should flip the headers upside down so it can get out easier and putting the headers back in is samething

my fa threw that code too I had exhaust, intake back then but never got a tune. Once I got flashpro, i never went into limp mode like that again.

@@loganyarbrough168 could be your plugs shaking during pulls, put electrical greese on the plugs to have a 10/10 connection
Replace the vtex oil pressure switch that should fix the problem no need to replace the vtec unit
planning to just clean it and purchase a new gasket. hopefully it fixes it!

I think the CEL is caused by the O2 sensor. S2 is a catless header.
the CEL is actually for VTEC solenoid. will be replacing it soon!
