The fan who compiled it has been digging up all the convention panels they can find that Jared and/or Jensen participated in and putting them in playlists in chronological order. It's a work in progress, but they've found videos I never came across on my own and they've been a great resource for my project. Thank you, I finally understand that Jensen improvised on Tench inch Hero - the entrance steppe was his idea - he didn't expect to director take it. And the steppe made the entrance scene Priestly so amazing 🤗🤗
I hadn't seen Ten Inch Hero before, so when I originally watched this video I didn't really understand what he was talking about. I had fun researching it and finally seeing his "little dance". It was a great improvisation!
This video is totally amazing and you've worked wonders with the enhancements and the mixing. It was like watching a great duo perform stand-up from different angles! Thank you so much 🥰 Also watching them banter so effortlessly is such a treat *sigh* The fans are so very excited too and I envy those who were actually present in the room during these early cons. Jared is his usual confident exuberant self and I can still see traces of shy Jensen in this video. But the way they play off against each other is just awesome *dreamy sigh* I love that bit about 'Waiting on Jared". If I remember correctly, Jensen once again talked about it very recently in a con, probably one that he attended without Jared. I'll see if I can find it. Oh and one more thing - when Jensen was in Brazil doing the promos for The Boys S3, he made a reference to his Brazilian ex. And someone dug that info out and posted their (or her) pic. I didn't save it but I'm sure it's around. Watching this panel and thinking about those good old days (I wasn't around sadly) made me so very nostalgic. But I'm so very thankful at the same time that we still get to watch them do this even today. After nearly two decades since they started out! 🙏

I had a lot of fun with that, although it required some difficult choices. Their panels together are always fun to watch, but this was high up there on the list of fun ones. It must have been amazing to be there in person! I’m constantly in awe of how anyone managed to pay attention to recording videos, and keep from getting caught, while in the presence of such distractions. 😂 It's amazing to consider how long these videos have been in circulation, and how many years' worth of enjoyment people have gotten from them. I don’t think I’ve seen the more recent con yet where Jensen talked about waiting on Jared, but I still have some videos to catch up on so I’ll likely run across it eventually. It always makes me laugh when he makes that joke, though. He said it again at VANCON 2009. They had a brief debate at the end of the breakfast video that made me laugh. 🤣
Was your grandma one of the people who asked a question? Or is that a reference to Karly(sp?) who said she was there with her grandma? I love that Supernatural has always appealed to such a wide range of ages!
Regarding the "I don't do fear" reference at 8:47 to which Jared responded, "Like that television show"... Someone on Tumblr (see post here: www.tumblr.com/detailtilted/750019431248396288/hiya-in-your-latest-vid-for-chicago-november?source=share) suggested this could be a reference to a paranormal reality show that aired on MTV in 2000 - 2002 called Fear: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear_(TV_series) Another Tumblr member commented on the above post and brought to my attention that Jared had also hosted a reality series called "Room 401" on MTV which, according to the following wiki page, "took unaware victims into the center of pranks that played like mini horror movies."
