Hi! I have the Inogen G5. Until the last year I have started to use it with more frequency, however, I have noticed reheating of the machine on warmer days, thos causing it to start working harder and eventually stops working because it needs to cool off making this inconvenient. Yes! I do make sure the vent on the front isn't blocked and it's facing away from me. Can you please advice how to prevent this or how to fix it? Thank you
If it is sitting in the sun, then it will get too hot. However, if it is shaded and not directly in the sun and it is still getting too hot, it may need service. We recommend you call the company from which you purchased your Inogen for repair.
I have a very hard time getting the cannula off the base, I have to actually cut the hose. The metal rod that holds the cannula on is starting to wiggle.

Most likely this is a problem with the unit, if columns are new and filters are clean. Contact your supplier for the repair or replacement.
