I support your work, especially in regards of the Palestinian ongoing genocide.
As for Bukele, I see you want to make a point of challenging the legitimacy of his second term. However it's disrespectful to all Salvadorans when you don't talk about the background in which Bukele was elected and how the situation improved in the first place. From being one of the most violent countries with high rate crimes to become a place where people finally feel safe and optimistic about the future.
The way these "human rights organizations" talk is very far from the real life of a normal Salvadoran. The FMLN has lost all it's credibility not because of Bukele but because of its own lies and mistakes. People are tired of them and no one wants to get back to the days of the guerrillas and burning buses on the streets.
Please do more research and try to reflect on what Bukele really represents for people. He has a dark side, true, but it's not the whole story.

Everyone loves to call him a dictator.. But nobody was there when my people were being slaughtered, women raped and young teens forced to join gangs! Nobody cared when El Salvador was the murder capital of the world! Now that this amazing god fearing president came to help turn El Salvador around, everyone has something negative to say! WHERE WERE YALL THE LAST 40+ years?! The people of El Salvador re-elected him, the rest of the world should take notes!
Those gang members who committed atrocities to the people, shouldn’t have human rights! I said what I said!
Until you lived through what my people lived though, you have no room to criticize Bukele! He has what many world leaders are lacking, faith in god and BALLS!

I am Salvadorean, El Salvador was a failed state, the gangs ruled over 80% of the small country ( with the full support of the 2 major political parties) . The political parties dedicated themselves to steal, destruction of the environment, while the population was being murdered, raped, made to pay bribes just to live to the gangs. Bukele ended all that nightmare for the Salvadorean people, thus, his high support among the masses. Bukele has brought Democracy for the first time in the history of EL SALVADOR.

It exposes that these "human rights organizations" have an agenda and it is not aligned with democracy or the safety of the people or actual human rights, like the right not to get murdered on open street.
The constitution was not democratic. No western democracy has a one-consecutive-term-limit. It was ridiculous. And the state of emergency was obviously needed as El-Salvador essentially was in a state of war.
Nobody called Roosevelt a "cool dictator", nobody regards the founding fathers as having acted "unconstitutionally". Why the hell would any good meaning soul defame a democratically elected president, who saved the country from evil, brutal gangs. If we accept that dictatorial powers were necessary to destroy the powers of gangs, they should have been limited to very short time period until the threat was over. Him stopping the crime problem does not mean he should be allowed to dismantle protections for Salvadoran democracy long term. What does democracy now want for El Salvador? If you call this man, a dictator and you label him as a fascist as somebody that doesn’t care how do you get to that result? What do you want to happen to the country? Do you want drugs and rapists and gangs to destroy everything in all of South America? Is that what we want or do we want some sort of peace for once, like what does democracy want.

Dictators normally don't get reelected in a free and open election and with such a high approval rating. Clearly El Salvador was in a State of Emergency and when in a state of Emergency extra judicial measures need to be taken. Bukele turned the most dangerous country in the world to the safest in the hemisphere. The criticism is essentially supporting the very same forces that caused the terror. President Bukele is doing the right thing dam the critics

If a President is widely accepted and proven to take a country into Salvador level success then they need CONTINUED support. The idea this is illegitimate would lead to the country going back to crap. Period.

How dare you call him a dictator from a first world nation a world away when we've done nothing for El Salvador and this man comes in and saves a country in a couple weeks. Yes, it's the criminals who bore the brunt of that - everyone in El Salvador seems fine with that and the US has lost it's way so badly that we think that's somehow not the natural order of things. It's gross, he should be supported and I'm jealous of El Salvador's future as we cowtow to old witches like this woman who tell us they're evil and wrong. What's she done? She's a media personality. I hope the people of El Salvador know what they've got with Bukele. He's a one in a century leader.
WE'VE got sniper on rooftops not only for inauguration, but just 24/7 all day every day at the white house. There is a permenantly sniper team stationed at the top. Not to mention they openly have undercover agents working as street vendors nearby. They took certain freedoms, but they actually produced results with it. We know they're tracking everything we do, but we still have crime and attacks on US soil so what's the point???
