Correct me if im wrong but one of the only times I've seen the master of masters talk in a serious tone is when he is talking to ava
No need to correct you, he has a VERY different tone with Ava at times
Correct me if I'm wrong, but even though the Foreteller's names are derived from the latin words of the seven deadly sins, their personalities seem to be derived from the seven heavenly virtues. Although, it seems that the Master is using a form of manipulation that sets each Foreteller on the path of each of the sins they're named after, without them ever realizing it.
I suppose it would be a more yin-yang kind of deal. Where the positive sides of their arc would require them to embody those virtues. However I feel we have seen much more of their negative embodiment's of the sins, rather than virtues.
Nomura always said that Terra’s story was the one meant to parallel Anakin Skywalker’ sin Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, but honestly years on? I think Ava fits that role just as well. If you view Back Cover and Unchained X through the lens of Ava’s character, it becomes a story of someone who ultimately tries desperately to do the right thing, but after seeing the Master disappear, her friends turn against each other, not to mention her realization of the Master’s plans for the Dandelions, comes to embody a kind of desperate greed that’s willing to do anything to accomplish it’s goals. Even (this is just speculation) if that meant doing away with one of the Master’s proposed Union Leaders to replace her with one of her own choosing. And it’s what I think makes Ava one of the best most subtly written characters in all of KH

Secondly, I love how you laid out that throughout most of KH Back Cover most of Ava's dialogue was coming from a place of "want." Ultimately the things she is Greedy for are rather selfless, but I am excited for the series to potentially explore this trope even further.

One flaw is Ava's refrainment from her greed, in a way that ISN'T good. Her role is gather the best wielders the Unions have to offer to survive the Keyblade War.
Handpicking the survivors of any conflict is pretty disagreeable if you ask me.
I have a theory why Ava did appear at the reunion. She is still alive. I think she will appear again. Her darkness is needed to complete the masters plan .
I would argue that what got to Ava at the end was her greed to protect cause she realized she was played she was the traitor all along without knowing
I agree with you, I believe Ava is the traitor as well. Her absence at the end of KH3 seems suggestive.

my bad but, Aced, I couldn't translate to anything. luxu translates to luxury and ava translates to grandmother. and ancrene wisse...that doesn't really have much to do with the foretellers
Greed doesn’t necessarily spawn from purely from desire. It often spawns from a need of self preservation. Often we think of greedy people as rich people who want more riches, but the homeless can be greedy too. After all, you see some poor horder collecting everything they can and fear losing even a piece of garbage because of the fear of losing something they think they may need. But they all have their beginning in the self-centeredness of pride. Desire in of itself is not a bad thing, desiring the wrong things and desiring things in the wrong way are
Ava is my favorite of the foretellers. She's super cute, and the only one that's not an asshole for no reason
This was great and I was trying to find anyone that had explained this on YT. You might be the only one! I'm pretty sure that during those scenes with Luxu & Ava/Gula, Skuld & Player, that it was heavily implied that Ava was the traitor. She couldn't believe the Master would create the scenario, but Luxu told the truth while Gula told the others that the traitor was "misguided by the truth" and that that person would create the clash to begin the war. But he also says that Skuld reminds him of Ava. I really think that whatever bond that Gula/Ephemer and Ava/Skuld had was passes to Sora and Kairi. It's strange now knowing that in BBS, Skuld, Kairi and Aqua were present all at the same time in Radiant Garden. Ava is such a mystery. Maybe her actions banished her to the same place that Sora is now.
I agree 100% that in all likelihood Ava is the traitor. Only now that you said it do I realize Ava/Aqua/Skuld were all in Radiant Garden at the same time. Theres so much to be uncovered which is why I'm excited for this next saga.
I think the Foretellers are all really interesting, I'm working on my next video now - I'm going to go 1 by 1 and lay out there sins and then another series laying out there virtues.

I have watched all the Fortellers sins playlist and it was pretty good and fun to see,thank you!
This all theory.
I wanna talk about about a few things that I realized:
So,we know each one of them are bestowed with a role and a named ofc.
Ira: Being the Leader
Invi: Observe and mediator
Aced: Ira's right hand man
Gula: Find the traitor
Ava: Make Dandelions,dont fight.
And Luxu: Bestowed Keyblade and keep box.
Now,out of all the Fortellers Ava was the 1st and only one to fulfill her role,making the Dandelions.
Now,with KH3 Epilogue we Know now that Luxu(Xigbar) was able to fulfill his role after all that time,which is to bestow Keyblade and keep box.
We are now left with the other Fortellers to truly fulfill their role. Also, I noticed that before each one was able to truly fulfill their roles something was about to or will or has happened, the Keyblade War or Clashing of Keyblade Wielders
What do you think the Fortellers new roles gonna be? Do you think there's a correlation between the roles and something happening? It also reminded me of Seven Seals or the Seven Scrolls derived from the Bible. Quite interesting!
Axel/ Lea is my favourite character & the master of masters reminds me of Axel a lot esp the sarcasm
The Foretellers could easily go on to exhibit and embrace their specific sin in the future installments, which could answer the question as to why as fellow apprentices who have studied together.. Why do they not value each other? If they did they could've put aside any doubts and changed the future, but instead only Ava is determined to do so..
Ava became more closed off and negative during the keyblade war and could easily approach Sora and the others later on, but, she might still want to hold on to whatever hope she has left that the Master of Master's cares about the fate of the world's and so she'll feel less inclined to share anything with the Guardians of Light especially given their experience with giving into or being affected by darkness and even if they tell her their story she might still decide to keep what she knows to herself even if it could change future events for the better.
Gula could be gluttonous in a way that he'll either realize that the Master has a darker agenda, that he'll find out about the fated dark master that was offered up as a sacrificial lamb.. Or some other third thing while still doing next to nothing about it and being as uncooperative as possible.
Invi could easily give in and show resentment towards Aced, Gula and Ava for their own roles since Ira and Invi would probably be the only ones sharp enough to figure out who the traitor really is (Ava) and when (in the future), she could easily lash out over not being given the role to personally stand by Ira, decipher the lost page and especially be given the task to ensure light and the keyblade survives.
Ira and Aced's rivalry could be given more backstory later on and Ira may grow to be the least cooperative since he dueled Aced and can't trust Gula.
Aced will probably be less motivated to do anything thinking it won't do any good, he'll probably resent the others except Ava.
I don't think many people consider mentioning much less theorizing this, despite seeing it in Back Cover and KHUX. Luxu is probably the only one that won't embrace his sin since he's probably the closest to the Master..

Ava needed to take all the keyblade welders with potential even though before she was generous and the list gos on I think I got my point across if not look at there roles and personalities they are oppusits

I’m on the start of season 5 of FMAB and I just found out about the foretellers being the sins yesterday, so I needed this video. I’m also surprised that aced isn’t wrath since he’s always mad, but I barely see Bradley super angry so I guess it makes sense that it’s not aced

I think the Foreteller arc is inspired by Full Metal Alchemist .
At the very least, they're obviously inspired by the same source material.
