Great save on the paint job on that panel! I would like to switch to machine polishing someday but I’m afraid of burning thru the paint. I like the progress you’ve made so far and look forward to seeing more. -James
I see that on part of the body where you need to apply x-18 you cover from clear paint (9:03). What would happen if you dont do that? You dont do that for window seals.
Hi! watch your video is always very stimulating to do better. good job! two questions please: 1. what kind of glue do you use to attach etched parts to each other and what kind of glue to stick them on plastic? 2. what is the difference between "Lacquer Thinner" and "X-20A Thinner"? thank you very much if you want to answer me 🙂👍
Hi man! thanks for attention to my videos🥨 1. In all cases, I use cyanoacrylate. I did not find more suitable stuff for PE parts. 2. X-20A - not a dangerous thinner, contains alcohol (just do not drink it), suitable for acrylic paints X, XF Series. X-20 contains butylacetate and butoxyethanol, and designed to thin nitrocellulose (LP series and other lacquer paint). These are toxic elements, respiratory and eye protection is obligatory. Its advantage is that it does not allow the paint to dry quickly and thereby make it even and shine. You can use this solvent also with acrylic paints X, XF (I do this sometimes)

You can do it James, just make 4-5 layer of mr hobby or tamiya clear. 2k need less layers, 3 is enough.
@@Scaleautoshop I try to use only 1 layer of 2k and put on 2nd layer if not smooth. If clear comes out perfect I don't polish at all.
Great model , superb work and excelent decals !
Many thanks!🙌
Nice job mate!
Thanks for the visit mate! ✌

2k clear coat has a thick layer, so i prefer not to cover the rest of geometry with it.
Hi, it's nice work and good finish. Many modelers edits basic work. But I can watch it fully. I'd like to watch the next.Thank you !!
