    I’m 35 and I’m about to start modeling. Going to buy my first model this weekend. Hopefully, I’ll get to this level of detail before I die of old age. I’m blown away by some of these people’s skills.

    Very nice, have this kit in the stash. Hope it comes out at least half as good as yours.
    Question, how come you don't apply the decals over a gloss coat? Is it because you clear them anyway?
    Once again, beautiful model.

    • @Scaleautoshop

    One of the coolest touring cars of my childhood this alfa! Used to have the Tamyia RC one lol! What was up with the front of the bonnet and the boot you had to fill there? What is that your making.the harnesses from?

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks for watching! at the bonnet and boot were sink mark. they should be filled with putty. Harness is just from thin wires.

    Great job and awesome skill! I'm about to start this build as well but I have a doubt; which red you used from ZeroPaints, the Alfa one?

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks mate. it was zero paints bun not Alfa exactly. just random red that i had in my paint shelf.

    • @CrzTommy
      @CrzTommy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the answer mate 🙂. I was thinking as well to choose a different red because it seems to me that the Zero Alfa one is a bit too dark, perhaps more suitable for vintage cars.

      @@Scaleautoshop thanks! I’m going to grab some for a Porsche I’m working on. The 2mm size is before shrinking, correct? What gauge, or diameter wiring are you using then? 0.3 mm or smaller to allow for more than 2 wires and then shrinking the shrink tube with heat?
      Thank you again, and you have a great channel! And a new Sub!

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
