I think it would makes more sense to compare to the Core 300S (from price point of view this is the competitor and not the Core 300) And I bet that the winner would be the 300S (decreased power consumption, lower noise, true HEPA, wifi,.....) p.s.: do you plan to test/review the 300S in the future? Just a heads up, some of us actually prefer our home appliances NOT to have "smart" garbage on them. Like, you can't actually control the Philips fully without a phone, it only offers auto mode which is unreliable at best according to reviews. Any kind of phone/internet requirement in a home appliance is a complete dealbreaker for me.
I prefer to have the smart features assuming they are reliable, which so far the Philips is very reliable and responsive, and the auto mode is working well for me
I would love to see a comparison on the Levoit 600S vs the Oransi Mod. From what I've seen, people seem to love Oransi but I can't decide between the two.

Does the fact that it doesn’t have a TRUE Hepa filter actually make a difference in reality, for a small bedroom? If your comparison showed it performs basically the same as the core 300, surely there’s not much difference?

I am surprised you people are saying Philips is the winner when in the smoke test, it is so clear how in just 13 seconds the Levoit has cleared all the smoke while the Philips still had the room filled with smoke. This is exactly what the purpose of an air purifier is. Levoit is the clear winner.
No. They got it right. They wanted you to buy LEVOIT thinking it’s a genuine review but not LEVOIT promotion. Look at all their videos, they make a lot of videos on LEVOIT

But It says levoit crestes like 24db and philips creates 49db on sleep mode on documents. Are you sure the room is isolated of other noices?

Well you didnt measure the airflow rates etc. Clearly the levoit is superior in air cleaning prowness, by winning the smoke test almost twice as fast
