Omg love this! I’m gonna be moving into my apartment In a couple weeks and you walk right into the living room and it just needs a little pop of something to livin’ it up a little :-) so gonna do this! Love the picture shelves idea too! I have wood shelve with black metal accent that I plan to use, plus I have an old cabinet I painted white and made into a gorgeous plant stand :-)

Why is it necessary to start in the middle? What is the benefit? Or does it have to do with the pattern?
Mark walls are never perfect squares. Starting in the middle is easier to get your paper level vertically and horizontally. As you work your way out, the first being straight will make all your rows straight. It’s easier to trim the sides and hide crooked walls in the corner than right in the middle. If you start in a corner, the paper will gradually start to become angled. A good test is to measure the width of your wall at the top, middle, and bottom. You’ll most likely get 3 different lengths.

It's the cutting in around doors, windows and light switches that is sooo painful. It looks great when its done though.
Question doesn’t have to be exact how much does a roll from drew and Scott cost I’d love that color and my bookcases get installed in 2 weeks this will pop from behind it . Thanks love from California

It’s still there! No peeling or bubbling.
How many rolls did this wall take?
I believe it was 5 with some left over. I would suggest googling a wallpaper calculator to figure out how much you need for your wall. Always buy a little more than you think you will need. Dye lots can vary, and it you have to order more it may not match. You can always return any unused rolls.

🤨well.don't tell anyone,but is not ok overlepping.😯 i don't recomend that.😲i am a professional paper hanger with more than 30 ys of experience in houston tx.and is not a good idea to leave overlap seams.on the other hand ,🤔 you need to cut corners or edges from the exterior side of the smoother ,so you don't have a small or short strip sheets along the wall.that kind of paper is a little bit harder to hang especially when is a pattern match.good job anyway.👍
Thanks! Peel and stick wall paper does shrink though. There were a couple of spots that I didn’t overlap quite enough, and some of my wall did peek through after a year. I agree with everything you are saying for traditional wall paper though. A different technique in necessary for peel and stick. ❤️
@@theinteriorlyfe2043 the paper shrinks because the wall does not have any sealer or primer.this help or keeps the paper to move .or ? you push or stretch the paper to much...
