As you go down the road with bands from other countries, here's some good ones to start with: The Warning out of Mexico, V.O.B. out of Indonesia, Jinjer from The Ukatine, Nightwish from Finland, Electric Callboy from Germany and Bloodywood from India.
+1 for VoB and Bloodywood!! They're both amazing bands on their own genre.
I would add Crypta from Brazil as well.

@@tackle47 Yoshu Fukushu is a great intro song for Maximum The Hormone, but Koi No Sperm isn't that bad either, as the song contains a lot of the styles that MTH played.
@@Vatvor I have no problems with Koi No Sperma but I have seen metal fans check out on it. Yoshu is more likely to hook them. Alien has a similar problem as its 2nd half is just so wild. As a MtH fan I love them but the shock value can be too much for some. Similar idea with Gimmie Chocolate for Babymetal.
@@tackle47 Yes, I would never recommend Alien as an intro song, rather as a second or third song. I don't find Gimme Chocolate as the first Babymetal song that problematic, Iine would be a much worse choice.

I will be making a 8 hour drive to see Jinjer, Hanabie and Born of Osiris in San Antonio a few days before their Las Vegas show. I saw Jinjer last summer at a small beer garden type venue and I was on the rail. Jinjer put on one of the best shows I have ever seen (I am one of those old guys who was listening to metal before it was called metal). Tatiana Shmayluk is my favorite metal vocalist, male or female. My suggestion for an introduction to Tatiana and Jinjer is their music video for the song Teacher, Teacher!. Thank you for reacting to some of my favorite bands (Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, and now hopefully Jinjer)! As a 60-something metal head, I am so pleased to see so many great new bands outside of the US.
Yes, Jinjer is great - after all, my icon is Tatiana (their lead vocalist). They will be the headliner, so the VIP meet and greet will most likely be with them. They're wonderful people, and in my mind the best Prog Djent band around. All of them are extraordinary musicians. All of their music is good, but I really like their newer stuff. I've seen them three times, twice with VIP - they are so appreciative of their fans. It is possible that Hanabie will also be part of the meet and greet, much depends on the production company and what the various artist contracts say. I've also seen Hanabie live, and they are amazing.
So, listen to lots of Jinjer - most of their OMVs are on Napalm Records TH-cam Channel. Lots of people will ask you to watch Pisces, which is great - but barely scratches the surface of the band's overall musicianship. I really like Vortex (th-cam.com/video/AiaOSGZTwtY/w-d-xo.html), Home Back (actually made before the war in Ukraine - th-cam.com/video/0t_I_ghmXIQ/w-d-xo.html) and Wallflower (th-cam.com/video/DYZrO7qcLhU/w-d-xo.html). They have some amazing live performances as well (again, amazing technical musicianship) - lots of people will inform you as to what is best, but I am partial to "On the Top" live in Kiev (th-cam.com/video/4Mg7fbki-gA/w-d-xo.html), as well as Perennial at Wacken (th-cam.com/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/w-d-xo.html).

I know the song and video gives the impression of a love for sweets. But, it is actually about societies (Japanese in general) unhealthy relationship with sweets and sugar.
I think i got someting you guys woud love. Theres a band called Nemophila, i would suggest Ama-te-ras offical live video. Or ZEN offical live video. Both absolute bangers, just like all their other songs.
