I got mine around the same time as you did, I have no complaints whatsoever, for me it's the perfect kayak for what I do, fish, fun, play around, it just works!!!
I have the Lifetime Tioga which is identical to the Tamarack. I have had it since July 2023. I have more than two hundred fishing trips mixed between lakes, moving rivers above and below the fall line and tidal rivers. I have had a blast with mine. It has its drawbacks. But, for the value I am glad I started with the Lifetime. The big bonus is the weight. I can easily load and unload onto my car top carrier. I will eventually upgrade to a different platform with pedal drive but have made several upgrades to this one. It has a stadium seat and a Garmin Fish finder. I have a crate that holds three additional rods and tackle along with an upgraded paddle. I use an anchor occasionally but do not have an anchor system.
@enternews I’m glad you’re having as much fun with yours as I have with mine. The Lifetime platform is great and provides lots of opportunity to make it your own. I agree with you that the weight is ideal and makes it so much more mobile. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a great day 👍
Heck ya! I am like you I bought my Kayak at the beginning of covid. I use it still to this day. Great choice for someone starting off Kayak fishing! Nice review Cody! You can't go wrong with Lifetime Kayaks!
Thanks for watching Stacy. Kayaks have their place and this is a great start. However, if I had the fish stealer I’d probably have less use for one 🤣 ‼️
I wouldn’t say it’s better. They are very similar platforms. The Pro has more features a better framed seat, adjustable foot rests, built in measure scale. However it is also slightly heavier. When it comes down to budget the Tamarack Angler is less expensive than a Pro. Thanks for the question. 👍
Have you ever tried a Lifetime fishing kayak? Tell me your thoughts.

@eddieb3404 couldn’t agree more Eddie‼️Thank you for the comment. What fish do you like to target?
@@GillsNReelsFishing which ever one sounds tastier at the moment

@baitnbullets Kevin, I couldn’t agree more. It’s a great starter kayak with loads of potential. I’m glad you have had a similar experience.
Thanks for the info. Looks like a great kayak. What is the big one behind you in your video?
@UCanBuildThis I’ll be doing a different review on that kayak. More to come. Thank you for watching.
Great points.
