      Can I ask, Why has no one discussed the fact that LeBron had 4s and didn't get a shot off to take his team to overtime.
      LeBron's announcement of possible retirement is his usual BS smoke screen.
      Everyone then focuses on his "retirement" and no one asks or even mention, "you had 4s what the hell happened"
      LeBron is not good for the Lakers, the way he plays them with his contract doesn't exactly screen, "I'm committed ", his demand for certain players and his overall demeanor is not one of loyalty and I'm committed to leaving behind an even stronger and healthier team than when I arrived. He certainly doesn't appear to be invested in their future.
      He's messing with them, it's what he's always done they would do better letting him go.
      4s on the clock for overtime and try force a game 5.
      When I saw it, I could hear Demar, Luka, Giannis, Jimmy, Jokic Kyrie, practically the entire NBA, past, present and future, in a collective chorus, "WTF are you doing". I imagined Kobe telling him "I could've built a court and still got a shot off......" And then Wilt just looking at him and saying, "And you think you're the goat ...........".
      Lakers deserve better than this. No player is bigger than game.

In the close-out game against the Lakers he had 3 blocks -- same as AD. And one of Nikola's was on AD at the rim in the 4th quarter, a key block. Also, very good hands so he gets a lot of steals for a center.

    Denver went out and got the right kind of defensive players not just good defensive players. The guys that can guard multiple positions and like with Gordon a Uber athletic guy who can switch on to any position without having to worry about lit up same with KCPg. But with MPJ and Jokic not being high level defensive guys putting the right kind of defense around them not only protects their weakness but actually make them better playing defense. The Culture in Denver is what makes them special. Murray being supported after his injury being told he was their guy no matter what and that showed everyone they were going to run it back until they get a championship with little Tweeks in role players and supporting cast guys off the bench. I'm tired of it bro calling jokic a bad rim protector it's just not true he's not elite or anything but he is at least average the only reason people think he's bad is because all of their perimeter defenders were injured and he had to guard PGs on pull up jumpers which isn't his job

    • @AMHoops
      @AMHoops  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @randygraham926

      He isn't a really good rim protector but he will actually go after blocks in the 4th quarter and end of games. I think he actually plays possum early in games and guys are used to easy layups. Then he will block their shot when game is on the line. He's won multiple games with last second blocked shots the last couple of years.
      Jokic had 3 blocks and a steal in the close-out game against the Lakers.

    Am i crazy or does Jokic actually have good Defense now? He doesn’t have rim protection, yet he is great at contesting, intercepting passes and poking the ball away. And that’s how he guarded AD, before AD can get his shot off or go to the paint, the ball would “slip” out of his hands. This is all because Jokic would poke the ball out

    Golden state no longer has strength in numbers. They overrely on stephen curry nowadays, like they did in the game 7 vs sacramento and certain games vs the lakers. Denver plays true team ball where jokic doesn't have to go off for 30+ in order to win. They have 6 or 7 guys averaging double digit scoring per game.
