Yes, but not a big difference unless you count slip stream and DRS. And most of the time he gains on the straight will be lost in those corners if not more. And considering Checo's current form, if Lewis doesn't pull some Quali magic, It can be a pretty easy RB 1-2. Which will put Max around 24 points clear of Lewis. I hope it doesn't happen though and we get a good battle.
Don't see way mercs wouldn't go for "software engine" strategy again if they think they need to. So much for the championship fight hype... Anyway, note really sure if this track suits RB more than Merc
its crazy to me that you think this is a RB track! this is a typical highspeed track with multiple long straights and big long corners where you don't have to lift at all.
Judging from that picture map turn 4,5,6 might be Red Bulls only chance to gain distance from the Mercs given that their car is ever so slightly better at corners I think that's the only spots
You must not have seen the track map. The track basically only consists of medium - high speed corners that lead into more medium - high speed corners. Should be rb dreamland
@@madhavisingh9046 the mercs are stronger in the straights but redbull are known for their downforce which helps them in corners. But hey I’m not an F1 mechanic so i guess it’s just speculation

After watching practice I don't see why not throw another DRS between 10 to 12 its flat and they hit about 285kmh and it makes sense due to 12 to 14 are almost flat could create an extra passing spot due to heavier braking into 12
