Eastern Express highway is very straight unlike western express highway which has a lot of curve which slow down the traffic and cause traffic jams. Since heavy vehicles spend more time on western express highway there are more potholes.

Yes they have slums but the conditions in those slums are comparable to middle class living conditions in India. Half of India still doesn’t have access to clean water or toilets, can’t compare with Manila etc.
