Nice video brother... I've seen everyone using red for some reason... personally I don't think color matters to them... they can't see color... Do they see blood when they eat the bait? It's all personal preference... I prefer Blue or Purple myself
They can see color, just differently from humans. But the scent is more important than color. Same goes for carp fishing, they go by scent more than color any day of the week.
I'm currently looking at going back to "old school" baits on my lake. For whatever reason, catching catfish on my local lake is not what it was 20+ years ago. These newer baits worked well but aren't as effective as the "old standby." Outside of that, keep doing what you're doing. It makes us working fellas smile to see people keeping it going. YOU DONT WANT TO USE THIS RIGHT AFTER YOU MAKE IT ... THE SCENT ISNT STRONG ENOUGH ..... LET IT SET FOR ATLEAST A DAY- 2 OR 3 DAYS IS BEST BUT 1 DAY WILL WORK .. JUST PUT IN THE FRIDGE AND LET IT SET !!!!!!
I’ve seen some videos catching some big cats caught on chicken. I’ve never tried it but, I have tried the jello garlic hotdog and done well. Great video Chris.
