Topology Transfer in Houdini

Great tutorial straight forward, iv seen the same process in the wrap 3d software, am abit confused, I have a zombie head model, I want it to have the uvs of the default model in wrap 3d software or blender geo tracker default head model, because to use your own model in blender’s geo or face tracker, your model needs to have the topo of the blenders default head model, now my question is, if I use your method in Houdini, after the transfer and solving, will my zombie model change its shape to that of blenders head model or will it keep the shape but only transfer the uvs and topology or it has to change it shape as well?

yes ,so use the zombi model as target and your blender head as source in houdini, you will get a blender head (topology) with the shape of zombi head. use that as a blend shape in blender...hope that helps

I encountered an issue during my attempt. After completing all the work on the edit points and clicking 'solve,' Houdini did not respond at all. Have you experienced this issue before, and how did you resolve it?

HI make sure all points are acconted for. All points in source should have a matching target point other wise it wont solve
