I'm Taiwanese and I've only tried xinfutan once. The boba's texture really ain't that great. (imo xinfutang and tiger sugar are both wayyyyy overrated). There are tons of brands you can tried here in taiwan, Jenjudan is my fave when it comes to brown sugar boba milk. But personally I'd rather stick to regular boba milk tea. Pudding milk tea and passion fruit bubble tea are great alternatives too!
I think it was just plain water to cook the pearls and the brown sugar melted only with the residual heat in the woks and pearls. What surprised me was the alumminum cap mixed with the rose pearls o.O really baaaad if that cook by mistake with the pearls...

check your package ingredients but i think on the ones i've bought it said to boil until it floats, then once it does turn the heat off, cover, and let boil for 2 minutes. it's been a little while since i've bought those though.
LOL if you have ever tried this, most people's experience will be: the boba will be gone in 5 sips and all you're left is the milk and the drink. When people drink boba milk, the drink is secondary to the boba.
85% sugar
15% milk
30% ice
1% flavour
5% extra cream on top
and 100% reason to remember the name

If you leave it out for a few hours the centre will get hard
that drink is gonna be gone in 5 sips bc of all that ice and they'll be left with hella boba at the bottom lol

@@ooxx1997 i work at a boba shop.. we sell this exact drink. it is much easier to suck up the milk than the boba through the straw..
