I love 1-gear jams, you know that. But my problem was of course the limitation to 16 steps. Of course you can make a lot of it, and I will continue to show that. But, I just wanted more. I wanted to loop a sequence and play over it over that sequence. And that is only possible with a looper.
I also love soundscapes and with the 1440 I can create incredibly awesome soundscapes that never end. That’s so insanely cool.
Today's jam is just a snippet, as is more common now. I had already looped a bit with the MicroFreak before and then realized that I liked the result very much. Then I played over it for a test and then I thought: OK, you’ll record that. That's why there is already a loop.
The next time I'll try to record directly so that you can follow the path to the loop.
I will also be looping with the volcas soon. I've had some really cool attempts with the key.

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.
When you hit the right notes, and then everything just comes naturally. That is what happened here.

Beautiful. Yes, more looper videos are welcome. I too frustrated with the 16 step limitation and no change in presets or mixing them up. So your videos will be welcome for inspiration and learning in how to use the looper/s

I've been on the fence for a while about whether to get a good quality looper for my guitar board, but hadn't even thought about it for my MicroFreak, "because sequencers" as oiralire said in another comment. I had even been considering the 1440. So this was wonderful to see and hear.

This is great and actually super useful for me! I went way overboard and bought three pedals and I've been debating which one to keep. One big factor against one of them was that I didn't think I would need a looper because sequencers. Apparently I was wrong. It's also exciting to see you playing with a new friend. I'm looking forward to more jams with the 1440!

.... I remember as I saw Marc Rebillet the first time 2 years ago... I hardly need the RC 505 and I bought one... But it was just the wish to get as good results as he gets... And that's nearly impossible.. so I send it back

Wonderful stuff. Just getting into looping myself, enjoy it but sometimes get 'stuck in a loop' - getting variations is proving challenging!

@@Volcaniced Ich habe tatsächlich ein paar Fragen. Wenn man ein Delay/Reverb an einen Korg Volca anschließt benötigt man einen Mixer? Falls ja, welchen Mixer nutzt Du oder kannst Du empfehlen?
@@ralftodtitec3305 das Gespräch hatte ich letztens erst mit einem Abonnenten geführt und ich habe den Behringer Xeny QX 1002 USB empfohlen. 1. Weil er günstig ist und zweitens weil er eine eigene Effekt Einheit hat. Darüber hinaus kannst du aber auch einen externen Effekt an FX Out anschließen.

I have an echoplex digital pro, very late in production. Freaking great but it is only mono. Looping is a blast, loop on VolcaNiced

I've got 4 loopers without Midi, for sampling it's okay, but for Live play this is good !! :)
yeap the 1440 has MIDI IN and guess what: ITS AWESOME!
i was thinking of this, but the looper will not sync tempo with other devices.

I'm quite interested by the visual representation of the synthesis, it's opensource approach but not interested in the current price :D If someone of vector want to send you a sample, i would appreciate to see you playing with this gear and giving us your feeling about its strenght and limits
