The 1440 looper needs a very stable midi clock signal, the manual says : Note: Ensure your master MIDI Clock's tempo is a whole number like 120.0 or 98.0 BPM tempos (ex. 120.6 BPM), might cause pitch flutter during playback. I believe your Tempo is at 92 BPM in this tutorial. Hope you can bypass this glitch, I am looking forward to buy this pedal for it's external midi sync function.

In fact, there is another video, a tutorial, that I recorded 2 days ago and the pitch shift could also be heard there and since I couldn't find a source, I didn't approve the video. So far I haven't been able to find the bug. Of course, I didn't look into the manual. I googled but no one had the same problem. I also wrote to the manufacturer of the RK006 and Gerrit advised me to display all MIDI CCs. But that didn't help either. So it's obviously down to the looper itself. The problem is: If the sync doesn't work properly then the looper can't be used in the long run, which is stupid. But that's how it is then. This pitch shift is really annoying.
And yes the Tempo is 92 BPM, but its possible, that its not 100% 92 BPM, cause you dont see this at the circuit. I am going to test this with the ipad, where I have the possibility to set the Tempo exactly.

I have a very, very similar setup. I just have the Circuit Tracks and the Behringer TD-3 instead... And I also use the DD-3 to split the signal form the Behringer so one signal runs through a mooer shimverb and the other though the TC Electronic Sup'n'Up .. but this really easy to use, thanks
I bought this looper when it was first released and it was *good* but not reliable for my needs. It sat in a cupboard for like 3 years but apparently they've got a few patches out now and it's much more reliable with some additional midi funxtionality. It's turned in to my go to loop pedal due to the small firm factor and the way it lets you tweak parameters

Hey man. I just got my 1440 and Korg Volca Beats couple of weeks ago. Can I plug the Volca Beats on the 1440 using the MIDI-Ins of both? And also plug my electric guitar on the 1440 at the same time?
a MIDI In needs a MIDI OUT somewhere. you cannot plug a cable on both sides into MIDI IN. what you need at least is a tool that sends Clock/MIDI at your 1440 and Volca Beats.
1. To erase a loop, play-back must be stopped. If a loop is playing, press the LOOP footswitch two times quickly or press the STOP footswitch once to stop the loop. 2. Press and hold the STOP [FX] footswitch for 2 seconds. The MEM LED will blink three times and then remain off, indicating the loop has been erased. 3. Only the STOP [FX] footswitch can erase a loop, regardless of the footswitch mode
@@Volcaniced it sorta might be useful, if the looper determined a tempo from playing as a guitarist--tempo determined by free loop points or the main knob. I wonder how to link with a modular player who also only has MIDI in. Likely my old Alesis sr16 as a go-between even if its not actually outputting audio! Things begin to complicate don't they haha. Also wondered if you record while octave is pressed, can you then press it and get an octave UP, and whether tempo preserves pitch or is varispeed. I like varispeed/pitch alteration.
Yeah Indeed that's a question. So there are some easy ways to get a midi signal. 1st is the pc. But if you want to work with a pc you need a tool like midihub or the rk006. They are sending a midi signal to sync your gear. Or you use a small synth.

Can the L & R inputs be used for 2 separate instruments? So for example monologue and bass guitar both in separate inputs of 1440?
Hmmm don't know that. As far as I know you can use the right input as mono but not both ...

You need the Quadra Thru 1 IN 4 OUT MIDI Splitter. ..
So the Circuit is sending the MIDI clock? In other words, I can't use the 1440 alone to sync my Volcas can I?
The MIDI jack at the 1440 is an MIDI. You can get sync by other gear.
