Quickly became my most played device. More than my Xbox and laptop. So convenient to play on the bed, while chilling with loved ones during a movie, or just during breaks at work. And unlike the competitor the Miyoo Mini, this feels solid enough to survive a 2-3 ft drop. The overall build quality is excellent considering it is a relatively cheap Chinese handheld. Unlike the Mini the RG35XX has not been plagued by hardware issues like the screen falling out of the device / coming unglued.
They also released the RG35XX Plus today. It comes with bluetooth, wifi and without all the previous problems like the rattling sounds or the dpad problem.
That’s awesome! Seems like it’s an answer to the problems that people had with the previous. Not a fan of the bigger size but it seems like a solid product!
Just ordered one to relive my 90s teen years. Cost me £65 in the UK, which back then would have bought 2 to 3 PS1 games at most so there are loads of PS1 games I couldn't afford back then and will be new to me now. Cool 👍
I ordered the translucent purple today. I can't wait to get it. And the translucent Gameboy color was my first Gameboy color I had to get. Impressed with all the roms inside it from what I've seen. Also looking into a higher model that has further support for later Gen games as well.

Ima get this in the future, When i get money, I already bought My retrogame 300 with 10k games on it in nov 16 2023 and it will come in nov 29 but i hope it comes earlier than that

@SideofTech they are not wrong. Power delivery is the standard of most usb devices like desktop and laptops and the most reliable phones like Samsung. Other charging tech are bad
@@sideoftech They should've went with 2600 to begine with...Now they've screw over early adopters lol. And there is no way to know for sure unless you open it up and risk damanging the fragile plastic clips!

I ordered on Amazon so it takes about a day or so. Ordering on the website takes much longer unfortunately but it shouldn’t be anything longer than a week hopefully!
3:33 So looks like they are using a usb-c port but not usb-c spec. Which is unfortunately as that basically means I will be giving this device away when it arrives (ordered it 2 weeks ago) unless I can mod it to accept proper usb-c to usb-c charging it's almost 2024 this shit needs to stop

Absolutely! Anbernic really makes some of the best and most beautiful handhelds even at a budget price.

You might want to take a look at the Anbernic RG353V model that plays N64 PSP Dreamcast and it has sticks and comes with WiFi

Amazing review man! Any idea how to switch disks in Final Fantasy 7? Worried I won’t be able to and will waste a lot of time on the disc one rom
So long as you have your save file from the last disk, the 2nd disk rom will be able to pick up that save data and play 👍🏼

I believe the newer versions come with Garlic OS out of the box! If not, then yes I’d 100% suggest it 👍🏼

They upgraded the batteries to 2600 recently, so if you order one today it comes upgraded already 👍🏼
