I had been following robert's and hindash's tutorials for months because i had my wedding coming up and wanted to do my wedding makeup myself..on my wedding day wheni did my makeup i looked stunning and nobody could believe i did my makeup myself because it looked so professional 😍 i was so happy and feel so proud of myself whenever i look through my wedding photo album 😚😚 thank you soooo much you two for all the advice and pro tips they really helped and made my wedding day fuss/panic free! ❤ ❤ also a thank you to james welsh as i had been taking his skincare tips too 😘

I'm counting the days until everyone realizes that hard stripes of contour, blush, and highlight with a glowing dot on the end of your nose looks insane.
I always think of Wayne Goss saying, "No one has ever asked for their nose to look bigger! And that's what highlighter does." Lol
The tip of the nose highlighter drives me nuts!! Even those with the cutest little noses look ridiculous with highlighter on it.

One thing that I wish make up artists would do is using models that don’t necessarily conform to our common beauty standards - aka people who might be considered not so attractive.

Like my skin when I look after it properly glows naturally and I'm addicted to mixing Strobe cream I to my primer so I'm like no highlighter necessary.
So true! I’m very oily and I definitely don’t need highlighter. I only put it on my cheekbones.
I never use highlighter. I find it unnecessary. And sometimes it can highlight any kind of texture on your skin. I don't think it's a cute look. I do feel like if it's Halloween or something and you're going as a disco diva or if you're doing some kind of special make up look or if it's just the Holidays and you want a subtle gold highlight then go for it but still not my thing.
Highlighter is sooo uneccessary.
I love highlighting. The more glitter in it, the better lol. But that's just me, clearly.

I was a MAC MUA for years and I was in awe of what I saw on YT tutorials. It hit me watching this video that YT is basically drag or stage makeup, or thumbnail/attention grabbing. Actual artistry is enhancing each individual’s features, but not hiding their natural beauty or trying to make them look like everyone else. 💡💖
Off topic I know and I apologise, bit is there any way you can make a video on how you clean your brushes?

Me: My hyperpigmentation is like a picture frame along the edges of my face. It covers the top of my forehead and the sections closest to my ears.

What annoys me most about this is that Robert LITERALLY IS A PRO MUA. 😭 it’s been his career for over a decade he’s allowed to call himself one if that was even what he was doing lolll. It’s common for youtube people to refer to themselves as “pro mua” or “dermatologist reacts to...” hell irrelevant as heck, but I saw videos titled “adoptee reacts to myka stauffer drama” (if you don’t know, don’t worry) like it makes sense to see what a specific person with specific qualifications may say about a topic lol. So even though Robert answered this with class, here I am to make it messy😭🤣

Hindash is also a celebrated artist with a professional/academic art background. Makeup came in later into his life, and he has obviously become incredibly good at it as well. His way of talking and even the way he is approaching makeup application reminds me so much of Mario Dedivanovic 😍. Love these two!

So I obsessively watch James Welsh because I love his skincare stuff. I never really paid attention to the name of the channel before. So when my recommended list started showing me a whole bunch of makeup videos I was like "when did he stop doing skincare?". But then I ended up watching a bunch of Roberts videos because I love his way of approaching the topic. I did not realize till Robert mentioned skincare was his twin brother's thing that the reason he stopped doing skincare was because it wasn't James it was Robert and they are two completely different people. Mom brain at it's best

I actually love that you’ve been including more working MUAs on your reaction series, I think it helps to show not only your appreciation for quality artistry and it serves to show clearly; good application & helps your viewers to know what to look for when watching typical beauty content when compared to some of the missteps in some of the other videos you react to.
How amazing would it be to have Robert and Hindash collab, each one having a model and see how different and or similar their techniques are.

This was my intro to Hindash and I was blown away. Also ended up buying his palette and can't wait to try it. But I came here to say that I have watched this video about five times now because both Robert and Hindash have a demeanor that is soothing. And that, together with the delicate application is like some ASMR thing... The time of this video goes by instantly.

I love Hindash! I’ve been watching more makeup artists rather than beauty guru’s more and more and I learn so much from their makeup application. My foundation application has changed so much from watching makeup artists rather than beauty guru’s that just cover their whole face no matter what and now I just do some spot concealing or just use foundation on certain areas on my face.
It’s always nice to see someone applying makeup where sure they do a full face, but they aren’t covering what doesn’t need to be necessarily covered and leaving the texture and natural look to the skin.
I love hindash as much as I love you Robert. Both your contents are very educational and therapeutic in some ways. 🧡

He applies very very thin well blended layers. He's actually a qualified Fine Artist. So he went to Art school before Makeup school.
@@marleyhill34 I feel you can tell he is a fine artist from the way he holds the brush - it's a very controlled painterly way of holding it. I think Scott Barnes is also a trained fine artist and he holds his brush like that too

I just wanted to say, I love when Robert is positively giddy with passion for his craft when he sees AND ACKNOWLEDGES something being done well by someone else. It's adorable, but more importantly, it just showcases his humility and character. I watched this video instead of meditating because again I don't have a lot of time rn, and it WORKED! YES please do a video on pre-makeup skincare routines! I'm pretty happy with my general skincare routine but as someone with dry skin whose foundation always looks so dry... i want to know what I should be doing differently to prep for makeup!
