Omg never thought I would see a positive Kylie reaction from you! Love that you are honest and objective in your evaluations no matter what (or who lol) you're looking at
I like to do the foundation/moisturizer thing when I want like a TINY bit of coverage but I want it to spread evenly. It works well on dry skin, I think.
Same. But I mix the KVD tinted moisturizer with whatever primer in using at the moment. EDIT: RECLAIMING MY TIME. Look... I did this yesterday and left looking flawless. 4 hrs later, my face was just a white patchy landscape of dryness. And these assholes at work didn't say anything, letting me look wild. Never again. 20 years ago Maybelline green stick concealer drawn on and moisturiser was my anti-redness primer. I looked so white it was fabulous. I've tried many since and nothing compares. Cf now no Maybelline :/ Did your trick too but I use mineral makeup now for NMMD. 'K back to work, Kylie's lips distracted me I can't ignore that car crash.
@@taranullius9221I agree about the lips. It's interesting how that look is the "norm" where she lives and the people she spends time with. But in reality, it looks completely unnatural. I feel that Kylie skin is looking good due to all the facials that she can get due to cosmetic surgery. Nothing mean meant by it, but if we all were able to do these things, we would look absolutely wonderful to. When it comes to you, Robert I absolutely do admire you, and you give such good advice
Um you do realize that you can get facials even without cosmetic surgery right? My older sister gets facials all the time, and she’s never gotten any type of surgery done on her face.
@@tiamarrow6366 she could mean that it cost money to get a lot of the facials and dermatologist visits she can afford, as well as top products for facials. As well as what I interpreted that Kylie's procedures would also require her to do more facials and skin maintenance, because of how more prominent her features are because of them also protecting her investment.
Something I'm confused about is why, if she created the new foundation herself, didn't she have it formulated to be the texture she likes with the moisturizer mixed in to begin with?
Right? I don’t believe she’s involved with creating her own products at all, especially with how she talks about her makeup. If she were actually involved with the process she would be able to actually tell why she likes it lmao
Maybe she wants versatility with her product. She’s selling it to people who have different preferences. Maybe make the product full coverage and then people can customize the coverage with their moisturizer.
This is why I like makeup artist owned brands because they really formulate things to make sense. They also know when they break the rules WHY they are breaking said rules. Thank you so much for such professional commentary!! I literally just had a lightbulb moment about my nose contour. Can’t wait to try it out with your tips!
I'm confused. If her foundation is the sample of a product she's about to launch, can't she have it reformulated so it is lighter and blends better, instead of recommending that one mix it with moisturiser? Lol. Or maybe, to give her the benefit of doubt, she's having it reformulated before it launches and is using it this way in the mean time...
Maybe she is who knows. I like to add moisturizer to my foundation depending on what I want. Sometimes I use more, other times less. Not sure if that's what ya meant, but that's what I do.
I use my foundation either on it's own or mixed with moisturiser depending on the look/coverage I'm aiming for, so I'm sure she likes the foundation on it's own too but it's nice to have a product which can be used either way
I like a full coverage foundation, I then can wear it as is for full coverage, mixed with moisturiser for a skin tint or mixed with a glowy primer for a dewy look, when I buy foundation I love one thar can be multi use, I own one foundation estee lauder double wear and it's the only foundation I need but I can get multiple finishes
Can't believe you're still on the skincare routine! *applause* I like her makeup here too, really nice. Am interested why she's releasing a foundation (I thin that she said the white bottle was a lab sample?) instead of a lighter base product, especially as she mixed it with moisturiser!
I absolutely adore all your content! As a super dry skin, I have found that adding Moisturizer to my foundation actually makes it look 100 times better. I'm also not adding equal parts, but rather 1/6 of the foundation because I'm trying to keep my coverage. I've tried adding serums, but its not enough moisture for my desert skin lol. I'm surprised I kind of agree with Kylie on this part.
I hear ya, my skin is so dry in winter. Where I live, winters are very cold. I either use a tinted moisturizer or mix a bit of moisturizer with color drops by nyx. Works like a charm. I also swear by humidifiers near the bed while sleeping. It’s helped my dry skin a lot

I will say, when i try to make my own tinted moisturizer, it's fine, but then i use my neutrogena or bare minerals and remember that i am not a cosmetic chemist. It just looks so much better to use a proper formula, decent tools are what really helped me - i use as little as possible to get the results, blend first with a damp sponge, then buff with a dense brush, and it looks really natural, just more smooth and even than my naked face. I feel like all these products and 25 frigging steps for your skin care routine is just a trend and a money grab. And people are really falling for it. It’s really sad actually. All I use, and have for years, is the Aveeno oatmeal soap, then I use witch hazel toner, and finally some Aveeno face moisturizer with SPF. Done ✅ it doesn’t have to be expensive, complicated or excessive. Do NOT buy into this nonsense! And drink your water. You’re golden 😉
the problem with Kylie is not the amount of makeup she wears but the fact that she self-mutilated herself through plastic surgery since she was 15!!!! what a toxic influence among teenagers! makeup can be removed, plastic surgery changes and damages your body forever!
I love new eyebrow signature look! I so tempted to shave my brow… 🤔 Edit to add: I have started using my fingers more when applying makeup, especially concealer. I find that I have better control during application and I also use a lot less product too 🫶💜🖤💜
Just gotta say, she clearly already has at least concealer on at the “beginning” of the routine. I mean, whatever, if you don’t feel comfortable showing the world a completely bare face that’s fine, just DISCLOSE IT. All she would have had to say was “I already have a little concealer on to brighten under under my eyes”. I’m just so sick of ppl like the Kardashians making ppl think that a bare face is already naturally even toned, no under eye darkness etc. The standard that ppl like her set by always lying about makeup and filters is so damaging.

@@AP-ih1fr I wouldn’t. If you have a chance to create your own products, you would naturally make it with your own wants and needs in mind. To then in a video barely use any of your own seems odd. Robert, are there any older women doing GRWM videos that you could review? I'm kind of over watching 22 year olds with zero blemishes or wrinkles talking about achieving a smoother, dewy look 🙄. (and I immediately thought of James during your ad promo 🤭)

I love that people are starting to shift more towards lighter makeup because that's the type of look I personally love and do on myself. I really like the way Kylie did her makeup in this video, I think it looks pretty but the blush is a little too intense for me lol.
Robert, please tell me where do I find the video where a girl is doing her makeup and talking about the history of makeup and you saying something similar to “men telling women they prefer them without makeup…GIVE A F”. I love it so much and want to listen to it on repeat, it’s so brilliant.
Does anyone actually believe that any of the Jenners/Kardashians are actually wearing no makeup before they start one of these tutorials? More like full face of no makeup look.
Great tips of the nose contour, I struggle soooo much. I wish I could send you a picture of myself for you to tell me where to contour. I do not trust the people working in makeup counter…you are a gem 🤍🤍
No, it may not take much makeup for Kylie, but it does take a lot of surgery, right Kylie? Yeah, I’m a semi-hater. I just can’t. You, Robert, look gorgeous as usual. ❤️
You can by lightweight foundations with ingredients that are beneficial for your skin nowadays...And I've learned from you, I usualy contour just the tip pf my nose, since it is wider there, thank you!
I love the tinted kosas airbrow but the clear one tends to start peeling throughout the day🥲 but it does look and feel nice on days where it didnt peel
It's come a long way! Her look no longer totally horrifies me. hehe But, seriously, it's good to see her growing up and paring down. She doesn't need much make-up, so she should only wear what really makes her feel good.
Love the orange accented scar, it inspires me to accent some of my scars too. I couldn't agree more about the natural makeup trend, but I remember it also being there before a certain person taught us all that we should do construction work on our faces. I blame all the excessive baking and ridiculously exaggerated makeup dark ages on Nikkie Tutorials, who was like "This is how it's done, this is how you do it, this is a tutorial. Ten to fifteen layers of full coverage for no reason at all, on my baby smooth 20 year old skin, that's how you should do makeup, lemme show you the 450 steps. Let's just put all the glitter on our faces. Let's always glue our eyebrows for no reason, etc". I fell it for it too, because she had "Tutorials" in her name, so I really believed that's how makeup is done properly, by all professionals. It took me about 2 years to figure out that there were zero reasons to do it that way, at least on myself. Some drag makeup is more natural than what that woman did/does, I should've followed those specific drag queens, I would've ended up looking better (not a joke). Of course I also blame myself for being naive (trying to avoid calling myself stupid) enough to believe that madness. Men had to step in and try to get us all to tone it down a notch, but it wasn't easy, because we were too brainwashed by Nikkie Tutorials. We were walking to our dentist appointments wearing more makeup than stage/tv/camera makeup. People finally started to get over Nikkie Tutorials, but it was a hard road back to alternatives, logic, remembering that we don't have to paint other faces on top of our own faces in order to look good. The only person I'd just delete from makeup history if I could is Nikkie Tutorials. Or maybe not, because now she's a good example of what not to do. Neah, I'd shift+alt+delete. This is just how I honestly feel about the situation, it's my personal experience and perspective, so please try not to get offended.

I wish you could watch your viewers do their makeup and give them tips like you do for the vogue videos. Id die to have you give me specific advice that would be so cool😂 its definitely an idea because i want feedback, but i do think it would be a fun series🤷♀️
That’s a great idea
I love this idea too! A series like Makeup Help Mondays or something! I would love my routine critiqued so I can get better!
@@kokonutte yeah I posted something on Reddit asking for tips and stuff and all I got was to use matte shadows, and a msg saying im sweaty(i knew this i have heart problems so im always sweating🤣🤷♀️) . I'd love some helpful tips, and I know lots of ppl do, but it's soo much different when it's tips that are actually meant for you, ya know? I also don't get out much and don't have friends so I don't have anyone to tell me my eyebrows look stupid or my highlight is too strong or something 🤣
Maybe he could do a cameo and give ppl help that way? But that would probably be a lot of work. Idk, I think it would be fun, but idk how many ppl would care to watch tips for other ppl so maybe im totally off idk
@@AKbaby89 that's sad, you didn't deserve that. The internet can be so cruel, which is why I usually shy away from posting myself. I feel like Robert's positivity and zero tolerance for bull**** makes for a great fan base so I would feel more comfortable.
@@kokonutte yeah I feel like people have two personalities now, one IRL and one online. People fight about the silliest things online, and im sensitive and really don't like arguing so I really like it when creators/influencers create a safe space for their audience. I really like that Robert always says to not tag him in rude comments or ever say rude things on his behalf, he really has created a space where people are comfortable being themselves, and I love that when people ask questions that are super common for ppl getting into makeup, others genuinely comment and give them tips instead of ripping them to shreds for not knowing the info already🙌 this community is great❤️
I DID notice your skin looking really good, lately, Robert !!🙂
Love your profile pic btw
I know I need proper skin care but all those steps can be overwhelming! Definitely going to check out Dermatica. Thank you 💜🖤
I feel like all these products and 25 frigging steps for your skin care routine is just a trend and a money grab.
For me, it destroyed my skin and Skin + Me was much better BUT different things will work for different people!❤❤
I can tell the difference in Robert’s face! He got that glow James has! I genuinely want to try that product.
I love the orange streak through your eye brow scar, Robert! 😍
I will never let my piles of powder go! I wanna be matte to the extreme! No glowy skin for me thank you!
Okayyyy but like the smokey eye at the beginning of the video you had was like bomb. I am here for the commentary of this. Also love your background!
The pigmented scar is soooooo pretty! I’ve always been insecure about mine and this is so inspiring
the problem with Kylie is not the amount of makeup she wears but the fact that she self-mutilated herself through plastic surgery since she was 15!!!! what a toxic influence among teenagers! makeup can be removed, plastic surgery changes and damages your body forever!
I loveee love this signature eyebrow flick. ❤
Kylie looks so much youthful and glowing in this type of makeup. Love that for her
I love new eyebrow signature look! I so tempted to shave my brow… 🤔
Edit to add: I have started using my fingers more when applying makeup, especially concealer. I find that I have better control during application and I also use a lot less product too 🫶💜🖤💜
I really like the warmer brown on the lower lash line/under eye, really brings out your eye colour. 🤎
Loved this video so transformative. And congrats on your skins improvement, it’s something that is defs noticeable
Always love the colored brow scar! I wish I could make mine look that cool lol
Always enjoy a video of yours about Kylie
Your videos always brighten my day 💕
All the Kardashians look dead behind the eyes. All the money in the world but they seem unhappy - makes me sad for them.
Weeeee! I love your reaction videos!! I also love your eye look today! That color through your scar is fire! 🔥 I think I’m going to have to check out Dermatica! This isn’t the first time I’ve heard you talk about them and as I get older and have more mature dry skin I find myself searching for different products that work well together. I think they would be a good fit! Also, I trust your opinion 😊 congratulations on the sponsorship! 🎉🎊 Well deserved! I know you wouldn’t sponsor a product you didn’t 100% believe in 😊❤
Dear Robert you always make my day 😊❤❤
She used TWO or maybe three of her own products - one of them not even a finished product ( which she added her face cream to ). She must love her own products 😂! 💕
But if she didn’t use her stuff, you would complain that she’s only promoting her brand 🤷🏼♀️🤦♀️
@@AP-ih1fr I wouldn’t. If you have a chance to create your own products, you would naturally make it with your own wants and needs in mind. To then in a video barely use any of your own seems odd. I don’t think that she has to use only her brand, but maybe 70% / 30%. And I think that any brand owner would and should promote their own brand.
I don't want to see another Lady Gaga video where she conveniently uses only haus labs products. Can you say advert?
@@stealthis it kind of was. Sephora wanted to highlight Haus Labs and Haus Labs obviously wants the same. Who else than Lady Gaga should have done the video?
Her face is so... off. Im not saying that to be unkind. It actually makes me sad. When she got her lips done she really looked so beautiful. It seems like her cosmetic surgeries were done in a way where she looks beautiful in pictures but irl..uncanny valley
Yay, another reaction video! Love you Robert 💜💜💜
Do her beauty secrets include the names of her plastic surgeon, aesthetician, private chef, personal trainer, personal shopper amd photographer?
That's what i'd like to know too.
Robert, are there any older women doing GRWM videos that you could review? I'm kind of over watching 22 year olds with zero blemishes or wrinkles talking about achieving a smoother, dewy look 🙄. (and I immediately thought of James during your ad promo 🤭)
I watch James and I watch your joint channel and I just think it’s sooo funny how different both of you are when you’re alone vs when you’re together 🤣🤣❤️
The before and after pics hahaha, you did get me Robert (thats very funny)
She actually looks like a human being; I love that for her! I'm not a fan of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, but I can objectively say this is the most positive feeling I've had toward a member of her family in quite some time. Your tips were most helpful here as well! She should listen to you. :)
Her makeup is looking much more natural. Her past routines were so complex. She has gorgeous skin, so why not let that shine through.
I love that people are starting to shift more towards lighter makeup because that's the type of look I personally love and do on myself. I really like the way Kylie did her makeup in this video, I think it looks pretty but the blush is a little too intense for me lol.
“The warmth of your body or how you can manipulate your hands”
*aggressively ASMR windshield wipers*
I literally love this look
Cause we all know Kylie is “so natural”
You’ve gotta luv it right 😅
my favourite part was when robert talked about and showed us his fingers. i hope he continues to talk about, and show off his gorgeous fingers ❤
the thumbnail got me !!! what did little miss Kylie do now? :D
She looks gorgeous and I really appreciate your constructive commentary as always!
I feel like her cheeks are so overfilled at the moment that they’re almost dragging her face down. It looks so heavy and out of proportion
Miss Kylie following trends instead of setting them. I wonder what the next look in make up will be
its hard to set a trend when you lack a personality lol
I absolutely Love his eye look!!! Gorgeous
I’ve missed these types of videos 🥰🥰🥰
I agree, let's not play chemistry set with our products. And I am not, I repeat NOT speaking from horrible experience 😜
Happy Wednesday!
