VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Brandon and Sarah moved into an empty van and began the conversion while sleeping on the floor. Her enthusiasm for minimalism and his excitement to build them a house blossomed into their perfect tiny home on wheels.
Swivel chairs in the front rotate, making a large living area for eye-to-eye seating and open socializing. The classic closet door swings wide, providing closure to the bedroom and privacy to the toilet. Stained butcher block countertops, a large sink, a stove/oven combo, and several overhead cabinets are what make up their central kitchen. Between Brandon's creative designs and Sarah's artistic talent, there are unique touches throughout the interior van giving it a personal feel. Up top, they have two Renogy 300watt solar panels supporting a 350 amp hour battery that never drops below 90 percent. This van build is exceptional and flawlessly suits them and their three big pups!

I've seen a lot of van tour videos, but this tiny travel home stands out as really impressive. Not as techy as some, nor as expensive, but really well designed and practical, including the roof deck.. Maybe that's from working their way up because their website has pics of the progress, and as they said, it didn't start out a finished product when they moved in.
Maybe that's a good way to discover what you need rather than only predict and presume what you need.
I have yet to commit to a build but I'll probably not be a full timer and will start out very spartan and evaluate which things we really need along the way!

This is one of my favorite builds so far. It truly looks like a home with all the personal additions. The mural is really nice as well as the doily across the back. I like the kitchen real well and the dining room in front. Best to ya'll.

Secret drawers are pretty much an essential - just in case the van gets broken into, a concealed drawer with an unusual opening method is a way to secure your important documents and valuables. The toe-kick drawer or the ‘secret’ drawer could be used for this.
Nice design! It’s how I envisage my van, but with a bed-lift instead of a fixed bed.
I wouldn't change a thing, you nailed it and the luxurious dining area is just the right size.

As they slimb up to the bed it's inside the stair almost under the closet.

Yes, I agree with another person's comment below. You moved in when your van was empty and now it is Functional and Beautiful at the same time. Less Tech and more artistic. Your van makes sense while the style is true to your creativeness. I Love it! Perfect amount of personal Deco. A comfortable video to watch, your disposition and flow of video is natural while a little shy and Humble. Refreshing to hear and watch ! I am also interested in extended family Portrait of pets. I saw the one you have in your Van Sweet!! I have a Golden Retriever Grandpup It would be awesome to have a Portrait done for My Grandpup's Parents. Aka.. My Son and Future Daughter in-law. I love my jayco but the space is not used that well. Couldn’t do full time in it...

This is one of my favorites and I've looked at a lot of van build videos. But I'm too old to climb up on the roof that way. I think I would look into putting some kind of 'ladder' or pipe steps on the inside of one of the back doors. It looks like it would be stable when the door is flat against the side and when the door is closed I could use the steps to hang stuff or dry towels . I'm always wondering about the toilets and you didn't mention much about that, but maybe in another video (?).

they should take out the coffee mugs and turn the cubby into a "Break Glass in Case Of Emergency" door with a wine bottle in it :)

Love the "secret" drawer...and seems there are actually 2 of them. As usual, though, not much coverage on the practical details with the toilet. I get that few want to talk about it but it's also an extremely important aspect of life on the road in terms of how much comfort a person may want. I'm presuming that the toilet has to be pulled out of the drawer to use it? Also, would it be possible to design (in that section of the van) a taller, conventional-sized toilet?
