I liked his run especially when the Avengers fight the Absorbing Man . A defining moment in my childhood reading the book.

LMAO - Michelenie Avengers and Giffen JLI were nothing alike.
Except that they were both wildly entertaining team book series that helped re-define both teams for the better.
I'm not a Jim Shooter apologist but you're making me feel like one.
And FYI - Michelenie was the lead writer on the tragic Avengers 200.
