TRX4 Sport vs TRX4 Blazer!

- Our friend Camden just got the Traxxas TRX4 Sport! So we made a comparison video. My Blazer vs his Sport!! Overview, hill climb and side hill tests, drag race, and a trail run! Hope you enjoy!
- We compared the transmitters, but somehow the footage didn't save. Blazer has TQI with locking diff and high/low transmission switches. Sport has standard TQ controller.
The trucks are out of stock in a lot of online stores, so I would recommend checking with your local hobby shop! But here are the links to our favorite online store, Amain Hobbies, they are available for backorder.

Thanks man! Glad you liked it and we appreciate you commenting!
Nice, does the chevy blazer fit the sport chasis
Yes it should. Just need longer body posts for the rear. Thanks for watching!
Nice trail location
Thanks!!
Can you fit the sport Shell on the blazer body?
Yes, the Sport body will fit onto the Blazer chassis you will just need a shorter body mount for the rear. Or Vise Versa. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions!
What is better?
Well, the Sport performs slightly better than the Blazer. So, I guess performance wise the Sport wins. But if you are into scale realism, than the Blazer wins hands down. The Sport is also about $150 cheaper. So it depends if you are after performance or scale realism and what your budget is. Thanks for commenting!
Ok thanks man love the vid
@@coleshanks1457 Yep. No problem! Thanks for commenting!
The drag race test would've been better if both trucks were running 3s.
Yeah I know. Maybe we’ll have to do a proper drag race soon!
@@3DudesRC get on that video they just released the trx4m 1/18th scale
@@businessraptor134 That’s probably a smart idea. I’ll see if I can meet up with Camden soon!
I paid 370 for my TRX4 Sport 😒
Yea, prices just continue to go up unfortunately.
Crawlers=like watching paint dry,but not as fun...smfh
Sorry you don’t like them. Have you ever driven one? Do you like the faster cars better? Thanks for watching!
@@3DudesRC I was close to buying a Traxxas TRX Sport this week, just wasn't feeling it maybe one of these days,it does look peaceful, probably aren't breaking things that much I bet.
@@StevenHunterPangians1 They’re more fun than you might think. I wasn’t too sure at first either. I’ve only broken one part on my TRX4 in the nearly 2 years I’ve owned it! And I drive it a lot! Thanks again for watching.
@@3DudesRC You're Welcome and thanks for the info!
@@StevenHunterPangians1 No problem! Have a nice weekend!
There is NO reason the TRX Sport isn't $100 rtr rc!! Or if nothing else.... no reason traxxas can't make a TRX that cost around $100. They could use a slower "cheaper" motor since speed is NOT what you need for tail. "Cheap" shocks, etc could be MORE THAN ENOUGH for crawling
While I do agree that $370 is too much, especially for a rig that is over 3 years old. I don’t think it’s really possible for them to make one for $100, even the tiny Axial SCX24’s cost $125. I would like to see them drop the price to $300. And I am hoping Traxxas will come out with a 1/24 scale crawler, which would hopefully be priced closer to $100. Appreciate you commenting and watching!
