Just a heads up the perk that allows a full heal on revive does not apply to just the heavy picking up allies it applies to ANY ally reviving a fallen teammate. Amazing synergy with the Sniper's quick revive perk
The numbers on the guns are used to compare within its own versions and not to other guns. The 1 range to a Multi Melta is indeed different from a 1 range of the Rifle variant.
with regards to the 1 range thing, all the weapon stats in the game to my knowledge can only be used to compare variants of that weapon and can't be used to compare between weapons
"Emperor's protection" sounds good in theory BUT it only kicks in if you let the iron halo run out and NOT if you deactivate it manually whereas "Adamant will" kicks in even if you just toggle the halo off. I'll give "consecutive execution" an honest try though.
Alot of this is common sense. Some of the perk picks in my opinion are wrong for my play style. In the video the guy didn't even have plasma pistol fully leveled but gives advice as a expert.
Wait, so weapon perks don't just affect the weapon itself but can also affect other weapons? You said that one of the plasma pistol perks also affects the multi-melta. Is this true?
I don't think it does. I think he was just associating it with the bug that was causing the melta weapons to recover non contested health. This association was incorrect.
He was definitely referring to a bug that was patched recently. The build is still one of the best. And Metla remains king. The bug was, if you had any contested health (white health bar) any AoE (area of effect) or splash damage would heal past the white health and because of how absurdly powerful AoE and slash damage is.... you hitting multiple emimies hard... which lead to more often than not full healing. This was fixed, and you'll no longer heal past the white health.
@@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 You can still heal all your contested health, tho, so it's still almost as good as it was with the bug! Multi-melta for the fuckin' win!
You dont - the multi melta is a heavy weapon and only usable on the heavy class - melta rifle is different and can be used by the other "small" classes
I don't know if you will see this comment or not, but I thought you should know there is some bug in the game that is erasing players progress.. It happened to me this morning (and I have proof) obviously there's nothing you can do to help me I just figured you have the platform to let people know this is happening and possible (at least on PS5) haven't confirmed any on PC.. Hope all is well on your end keep up the great work o7
Parry is easy. The problem is the game does a piss poor job of explaining how it actually works and leaves the most important information out of the tutorial. In order to nail a perfect parry, 100% DO NOT WAIT FOR THE BLUE INDICATOR like the game tells you. The blue indicator is more for trash mobs jumpumping on you, or a Majoris doing an extremely telegraphed attack that will hit harder than a normal attack or attack chain start-up. You can parry every single attack barring red indicators, just take your time in combat don't mash buttons this isn't darktide there's no timer there's no rush.... watch for the enemy's hand as soon as it moves for an attack you tap the parry (don't hold it) you will nail it 100% and even by chance should you wiff the parry you won't take any damage but won't get the gun shot either, red indicators always appear before the attack so you'll never mistake parry. The more people who understand the parry, the better the experience of the game.
Doesn't exist because bolter as a general suck, unless it's a variant with the noob tube (grenade launcher) which made bolter viable for AoE to keep up with the Melta. Bolter =underwhelming firepire in need of serious buff. Plasma = to slow + eats 10 ammo on charged shot Melta = faster and more powerful than plasma and infinite Ammo Melta is the only "S Tier" heavy build.
@@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 plasma pistol eats 10 charged.. heavy plasma eats 5. I sometimes enjoy messing with heavy bolter in lower difficulties but the main problem with it is that its role doesn't fit the constant "flank, swarm & ambush" tactics that gets thrown our way.. if you can roll yourself into a long corridor away from the enemy spawns it's fun for a change and solid midrange hordeclearing but all it takes is 1 lictor or ravener to poop in your cup even with all the manouvering necessary to get there :/
@@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 The Multi Melta is satisfying to use but boring. I like how the Heavy Bolter feels and requires more skill to use effectively. It just feels weak when a Nid Warrior can walk you down without slowing, forcing you to engage in melee or dodge. Imagine 3 or 4 warriors walking you down. You're gonna be dodging/parrying/chucking nades, or giving ground, whereas the multi melta user can simply stunlock all 3 or 4 warriors until they flash red. They should add a small AOE slow effect on your target to make it feel like the Heavy Bolter has more stopping power.
The Multi Melta (All Aoe) over heal has been fixed in the latest patch. so no more free full health.

Multi melta is still the best in slot despite having its overheal bug fixed
Is this before or after the recent update? Cause you know ...
No reply on this probably means it's before.
Definitely before
The emperor protects
it would be better if the anti stagger perk wasn't buggy AF.

There's also a bug that's stopping you from changing weapons in loadouts (xbox)
Same bug on PS5
Why do you say “it’s not possible” to Not pick an option for gear two? Can’t we just not buy those perks and skip them?
Melta is still powerful as fuck its just not stupid broken as it was. Heavy Bolter is also stupidly good...Plasma trap as fuck though
Plasma been buffed but I still prefer heavy bolter for some reason
