As a fan of Taylor Swift who also went to the Eras Tour, I wholeheartedly understand when someone tells me they aren't a fan. I am not going to sit here and pretend like all of her music can resonate with everyone. I more appreciate her albums like Folklore and Evermore which have a lot of literary references and are more folksy than pop. To each their own, and keep up the good work on your channel!

I swear, I didn't even recognize Taylor Swift as an individual artist for a long time. I was constantly confusing her with people like Katy Perry and Megan Trainor, even though those people are nothing alike if you've actually seen them. I definitely fall into the category of idgaf about Taylor Swift, but I do have one positive thing to say about her. She gave 250k bonuses to her tour truck drivers and gave six-figure bonuses to her lighting and audio techs and the rest of her touring crew. That's a life changing amount of money for so many people (especially for touring crew), and that kind of money could get someone a down payment on a house or startup capital to start their own business. Say what you want about Taylor, but I'm glad she's looking out for her touring crew.

She then said: “ok well who do you think is a good music artist? Name two.” And I thought for a second and answered: Micheal Jackson and Eminem. She then said Micheal Jackson is dead so he doesn’t matter, and that Eminem has basic beats and no originality. First off, Micheal Jackson may be dead, but thriller, beat it, Billie Jean, and smooth criminal are better than anything Taylor swift has made. secondly, Micheal Jackson had an impact on us. Think of the memes: the moonwalk, the gif of him eating popcorn, the one where he leans 45 degrees (I don’t know what it’s called but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about).
And lastly, Taylor has some of the most basic pop beats and generic lyrics ever. You can NOT say Eminem has basic rap beats if you think Taylor is original.
(And by the way, Micheal Jackson and Eminem are not my favorite artists, just some good ones)
