I like how we actually saw Tony training in hand to hand combat in some of the earlier Iron Man films. Him being able to briefly fight Bucky without immediately being killed is a nice rewarding payoff.

Robert Downey Junior knows a real martial art that I can’t remember the name of right now and in one of the three iron man movies they very quickly showed him practicing it in his work shop to set up that apparently Tony stark knows it too which is what he used here, I thought that was a neat detail.

I really love the idea that Tony walks up to Bucky thinking “this is a bad idea.” And as he catches the bullet says “holy shit I’m still alive!” All In his head lol.
I was confused cause of how fast paced the scene was and thought that Tony took the bullet to the face with his glasses and now I see that he blocked with his nano suit hand.
Even without his suit, he lands like a panther. Details matter. This was so well done. My expectations for Black Panther in Civil War were far Exceeded.

I love how good this film portrays Bucky’s abilities. Dude’s brain isn’t there but he adapts immediately to whatever opponent and beats them. Is able to duck Tony’s blast, uses Sharon and Nat’s style against them, recognizes BP’s strength and tries to flee immediately after getting an advantage.

Bucky was trained by hydra to incorporate a certain skillset involving the frequent usage of his superior left hand. Love seeing all their different approaches to fighting Bucky. Tony is just in a suit and tie but he does stun and remove the gun from the fight using cunning and tech. The assassins use agility and martial arts, and T'challa fights him one on one in hand to hand combat
@Joseph Farah a very similar strategy to Caps, just a lot more brutal and less efficient. He’s basically unkillable thanks to the serum and he knows it, and with that metal hand he only needs one good bit to take most people out of a fight.

It's a good reminder that a variant of the super soldier serum is administered as part of the Black Widow program. She's not as enhanced as Bucky or Cap, but she's peak human condition. Fighting Natasha is like fighting Anderson Silva in his prime.

There’s something really cool to me seeing how billionaire Tony, even without his suit, will still try and get into fights and do something rather than nothing.
I actually really like this scene. It shows just how up to par Bucky is with everybody. Take away everyone’s suites and he’ll beat them. Even T’Challa struggled 1v1-ing Bucky AND KEEP IN MIND T’Challa has the powers of the Black Panther at this point. Bucky may just be a man but he’s still up to par with most enhanced.

Yeah the Infinity War/End Game directors really f*ckd with some of these characters. The most annoying was the Hulk who was anything but incredible. Also in BP, Tchalla didn't seem as menacing as he does in Civil War. But you could argue that he was really pissed about his dad's death at the time. BUT still. I would've loved to see THE Black Panther go ham like this on his own movie AND the Infinity War Saga.
For Vision, I agree that he's been nerfed, but in the movies, it is the opposite... Bucky was overpowered in Winter soldier: he doesn't have super serum in his body. He's technically only a human in peak form with a metal arm. Which doesn't magically makes all his punch stronger technically, inly his jabs. So he shouldn't be able to stand a candle to Cap or T'challa which are both superhumans.
Love how Tony's wrist watch is usable. He learned his lesson from IM3 when he was in that gun fight and his suit kept coming in one by one. Always be armed and also...It's a Limited Edition.
I love how everyone gets to have a fight with Bucky and the one that lasted longest was T'Challa, just shows how strong he was and felt like his battle with Bucky was personal.
Tony’s greatest strength is his intelligence. Notice how his main goal was to neutralize the gun, he used sound and light to get close to Bucky, and once there he always aimed to grab the gun.

In technicality, his hand should not be usable for at least a day or two, having deflected a bullet at that distance.

I love how good this film portrays Bucky’s abilities. Dude’s brain isn’t there but he adapts immediately to whatever opponent and beats them. Is able to duck Tony’s blast, uses Sharon and Nat’s style against them, recognizes BP’s strength and tries to flee immediately after getting an advantage.

Man, I know Black Panther was an ok movie, but people calling Chad a legend is a little nonsensical. He didnt bring anything to the character, did like two movies, people just let their emotions get to him.

Love seeing all their different approaches to fighting Bucky. Tony is just in a suit and tie but he does stun and remove the gun from the fight using cunning and tech. The assassins use agility and martial arts, and T'challa fights him one on one in hand to hand combat

I actually really like this scene. It shows just how up to par Bucky is with everybody. Take away everyone’s suites and he’ll beat them. Even T’Challa struggled 1v1-ing Bucky AND KEEP IN MIND T’Challa has the powers of the Black Panther at this point. Bucky may just be a man but he’s still up to par with most enhanced.

Yea my gripe with Infinity War and Endgame is that Bucky got a new sickass straight from Wakanda vibranium arm but he only uses it to pull triggers. Would've loved to see him superunning next to Steve and T'Challa during the big battle as a nice twist to their chase scene during Civil War
Yeah the Infinity War/End Game directors really f*ckd with some of these characters. The most annoying was the Hulk who was anything but incredible.
Also in BP, Tchalla didn't seem as menacing as he does in Civil War. But you could argue that he was really pissed about his dad's death at the time. BUT still. I would've loved to see THE Black Panther go ham like this on his own movie AND the Infinity War Saga.
For Vision, I agree that he's been nerfed, but in the movies, it is the opposite... Bucky was overpowered in Winter soldier: he doesn't have super serum in his body. He's technically only a human in peak form with a metal arm. Which doesn't magically makes all his punch stronger technically, inly his jabs. So he shouldn't be able to stand a candle to Cap or T'challa which are both superhumans.

Tony’s greatest strength is his intelligence. Notice how his main goal was to neutralize the gun, he used sound and light to get close to Bucky, and once there he always aimed to grab the gun.
He used electricity to temporarily disable Bucky's arm.
Notice that Bucky fights with one arm against Tony?

Winter Soldier& Civil War probably have the best fight choreography in the entire MCU.
