Niko G usual good places are either outside a boss fog gate or near a common bonfire for the area. But you have to keep in mind your own soul level and what might be the "usual" soul level of people who would need help doing a particular boss, since there's a limit on the level difference for you to summon a phantom to help with a boss. (guesstimate somewhere between 10-20 levels, 10 if you're low level 15 if you're high). Sorry if you found this out already :)
From Software makes some good games... but god are they idiots when it comes to design. Co-op? Sure! Just jump through 15 hoops to do it, with no voice chat, instead of making an easy to use interface. /commonsense

Like it does commonly rn. The inability to fully pause single player wise is made to make it harder which is why they wouldnt make it "pause" even when in multiplayer. Especially in invasions as it would be unfair to pause then as well.
If your friend helps you beat the boss then you progress and your friend won't. So what you should do is, he helps you kill the boss then you run back to the beginning of the level and then have him summon you and then you beat it with him. Another thing is if their is a bonfire near you after you beat the boss, light the bonfire but don't sit @ it because it will respawn all mobs and will make it hard for you to get back to the beginning of the level to help your friend.

The Level difference between all the players must be within 10 Soul levels to summon them. The host of the room gets all the items but the people you summon get xp, and money. So if your playing with a friend through the whole game then summon your friend, complete the level. then have your friend summon you and complete the level again with your friend being the host.
Thats false. Its 10 levels plus a %. So even like a lvl 5 and lvl like 30 can play together probably. Also the bigger the level the higher the % so a lvl 200 has a bigger range. Also passwords removes this entirely.
You friend will have to play by himself until he gets the white sign soapstone in the video. In the game you will have to defeat the really fat boss in the beginning and then beat the taurus demon on the way to the sun guy i show in the video. Where this video starts is right after beating the 2nd boss the Taurus Demon.

If he is dead and does not use a humanity then he can only put down a mark and be summoned, he can't summon others. So human form=summon others or get summoned. dead form=only can be summoned

Thanks. I've beat him before long ago. But I find the best gear I can and upgrade and my guy sucks.I had like full set +5 knight armor and +5 battleaxe and some enemies just destroy me. I don't see where all these players on TH-cam get these wicked armor and one hit kill weopens. I'm still trucking though. First playthorugh stuck at lv 37 tank build. I made new thief and and working on a fast but strong build. That Taurus demon just one hit kills me though and unfourtunetly when I did almost kill him I died and all my firebombs I used are permanently gone. What's best build for this game. I'm gonna solo no random phantom help.
Shane App Stats and gear really are secondary to knowledge and skill in this game. Even at a high level in good armor a basic early mob can still kill you if you let him hit you a few times. Might take 10 hits if you have really high health, but usually when you get to a high level in a game you can let an early mob hit you for 10 mins and still not die lol. And it goes the other way too, as people have beaten the game at soul level 1, and speed runners would kill bosses while almost naked most the time.

Does anybody have problems with the coop beacuse I can't even see blodstains summoning sings etc... I downloaded this now when it was free on Xbox. can anybody help? It worked fine the first 3 hours and now it doesn't work at all :(
All I can say is that this guy left out a lot of details on the co-op of the game. I've been playing this for a while now, and I believe all you need is to look everything up on the wiki.

It is hard and co op is hard to do and if you rage ALOT then this game isn't for you

This game is all about patience and learning the opponents moves. Get in, take some swings, don't get greedy and back out! Repeat.
