Why this Oldie is the Most DANGEROUS Doping Doctor Ever

  • Michele Ferrari, Eufemiano Fuentes or Richard Freeman are some of the most famous doping doctors in history who treated cyclists such as Lance Armstrong, Tyler Hamilton or Michael Rogers. However, a much more dangerous doctor has been working since 1972 doping cyclists of all kinds, from Mathieu van der Poel's grandfather to Laurent Fignon, Frankie Vandenbroucke or Richard Virenque through cyclists and athletes of the last 10 years.

      In general to enjoy cycling you either belive that everyone is clean until proven wrong or that everyone is juiced to the same point. Regarding times dropping we are not really seeing that much, many hill record are still standing since the '90 or early 2000 (for example pogacar vs pantani time at oropa ecc.). The hour record did drop alot but there the new technology are light-years ahead. Race times did get lower but also the avarege rider (domestic/gregario) is strongher compared to the past.

    Some fun facts:
    1947: US Navy published paper on blood transfusions for pilots at high altitude.
    1985: IOC banned blood transfusions without any test to catch anybody and only after Olympic cyclists from 1984 admitted to doing it.

      The early transfusion protocols were very hit & miss with some academic studies suggesting very few gains. In sporting terms the 68 'Altitude Olympics' acted as a catalyst. Look at the Finns dominating 70s distance running via altitude training and transfusions, or was it reindeer milk? The expense and medical requirements kept it exclusive, for state backed amateurs only. The US landed the 84 Olympics and invested heavily in a cycling plan, poaching Eddy B from Poland c.78. I think around 1/3 of US cyclists were blood-packing at LA 84.

    You should see Icarus, a 2017 documentary film about doping in cycling. Bryan Fogel, the film director and writer, is also an high-level amateur cyclist who joins cycling races. He decides to try a doping program but he needs to find someone to guide him through a doping protocol. He eventually connects with a russian scientist named Grigory Rodchenkov, which was the director of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory. Grigory agrees to help Bryan and designs a protocol that will allow him to take banned performance-enhancing drugs. When Bryan returns to race Haute Route Alps his doped performance was not enough to beat the fastest riders 😂

    I see people saying your content is "nothing but innuendo" or "not based on facts" etc etc but I wish people would research it themselves. I've always known about the doping in cycling (I've followed the sport since late 80s) but this past year I've actually done REAL research. I've learned A LOT!! It's informative and it's fun. Now I blow people away with names, facts, incidents, science etc. I still get cursed out every time I mention the VERY questionable things we are seeing in the sport😂😂 but people need to wake up and smell the EPO!!!

      @kennykaniff 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@yakobcdiego thank you. That's helpful to get further literature. I'm not worried about destroying my faith in "clean" cycling. That's been gone for years lol. I think it was in March of 2015 a CIRC report was issued TO the UCI and one professional says that 90% of the peloton is doping in one form of another. CIRC is Cycling Independent Reform Commission and the report is 227 pages. I've not read the entire report yet but I have read many pages focused on how doping is done. EPO micro dosing was what riders switched to when the bio passport (ABP) was implemented. Before ABP riders were NOT micro dosing and it gave them 10% gains but with micro dosing they can dose in the evening and by the next day at 6am they can test completely clean. Micro dosing gives 3-5% gains and the logic of the riders is that is "clean" cycling. But remember this was published in 2015 so the advancements made 10 years later are going to be astronomical. Especially with how advanced science and technology has become and the amount of money in the sport nowadays!!! I could go on but I digress.
