It's even more ridiculous in Mission 5 if you think about it. You're supposed to be piloting a banged up junker, held together with nails and duct tape.
And now I like to think they had a whole huge hangar of Ravens, but lost all but the one because McKinsey ordered to put them as decoys.

The Osean army probably captured them. The Falken is Osean makes sense for trigger to get his hands on it. The Morgan is in possession of Osea, also makes sense. And the X-02 and Raven probably got taken over when the Osean forces took over Erusean territory.

-The Mage skin lists the number 015 on the fuselage and FG on the rudders.
-The Spare skin lists the number 015 on the fuselage and FG under the three strikes on the rudders.
-The Strider skin lists the number 015 on the fuselage and WW over the OADF.
In fact, if you look closely at cutscenes, you'll see the following little details -
-Count's tail has the words HK on the tail.
-Champ has DN on his MiG29
-Tabloid has MN on his Mirage
-Trigger, again, has FG.
In military terms, those two letters identify the base the aircraft operates from. In Trigger's case, FG stands for Fort Grays. As another example, the VL on Cipher's F-15 stands for Valais airforce Base. And if you think about it, this would explain the sheer variety of Spare squadron; Spare's planes include an F-16, a Mirage 2000-5, several F-18s, an SU-33 and a MiG-29. Rather than send a new airframe to the penal unit, just send the pilot and their plane - no-one else is going to want to fly it and hey, you don't have to waste more money teaching a convict to fly a different kind of aircraft!

Aren't most aircraft in AC3 better than these ones anyways? They may be upgraded existing aircraft, but it seems they have insane speed and stuff.

I agree. Of course it is kind of dissapointing given the Adler/ Zoe has an amazing cockpit and most unique of all aircraft, but this one has cameras all around and is the latest model of the ADF series
Would’ve been cool if they added something like a transparent polygon mesh for the cockpit view. Like, a grid-like outline of the airframe that you could still see through

I love it, though i have to say: ADVANCED DOMINANCE FIGHTER that is using a feed from 3 megapixel resolution cameras is probably peak Belkan tech, can't get better than that.
And now the multiplayer is full of lasers and drones!
I just love shooting down those ravens xD multiplayer is spammed with them.
Its so fun to train yourself and shoot them down tho

I went for the phoenix emblem with the metallic red. In my head canon I changed the story. I'm no longer Three Strikes. I am now the Crimson Phoenix. Trigger emerged from the penal unit an Ace, redeemed like a phoenix from the ashes soaked in the blood of his enemies.

It's not hard to do....
Considering the stall speed is 240km/h, I did the PSM by accident almost all the time when I was doing missions and had to pull high G turns. This girl can do the PSM in her sleep.

@@thyCarrot The drones are vehicles of war. They are designed by Erusea (which in reality is designed with Belkan help) to wreck the enemies in war, while Belka wanted to sow destruction as revenge.
The drone AI were functioning with the same principle in mind - win the war by any means, but the fine text of "by any means" grew beyond even Schroeder's imagination to the point of planning and executing things he never intended to do, to "win the war".

Hear my explaination for how the hell Trigger pilots this plane..
Do you actually see the sensors? These are 360 degrees sensors that give a pilot god-like awareness and extreme flight capabilities. Trigger on the other hand, is sleeping inside a specially desinged pilot chamber that have a human-machine interface helmet.
This way, Trigger can be immune to the Gs that he pulls of. Only backside is that he have to be silent to focus on the fight, thats why he doesnt speak on the comms.

Imagine if in AC8, they bring back the ADF-11F, and instead of the UAV secondary weapon, Hugin and Munin join you, and you can order both of them to either attack a target, or defend you or an ally.

He isn't on the carrier. He's inside the raven wearing a VR helmet hooked up to the cameras. This is the F Type raven which has its brain pulled out to make room for a cockpit

SHit son, that's the fastest I've ever seen anyone go in those tunnels.
I wish that there was a bigger sense of urgency for this final mission. Yes, I know that if the drone was able to transmit itself then there would have been drone attacks across the whole Usean continent, but there wasn’t just the sense of world-ending urgency like in the previous games.
I mean, at the least, imagine if we had a time limit and we realized that the drones would destroy the elevator after transmitting themselves. Then we heard Nagase clearly requesting an approach and that the space elevator was her target.
Trigger would have been able to both become a hero AND protect a hero at the same time.
I don’t know, I guess I just miss really big and menacing missions like Megalith and The Unsung War.
That wouldn't make sense. The drones have no need to destroy the elevator as the elevator is providing power to all the drone factories

I know WT has Arcade Battles, but flying WW2 aircraft in Strangereal just has that unique feel to it.
Meh, I'd prefer if they added more vintage jets instead. In a Jet combat franchise, it's criminal that they've done WW2 prop planes but not planes like the F-86 and MiG-15.

Just imagine the arsenalbird equipped with what was it? 72 drones? Except they are all Ravens and since they are drones, once damaged to a certain extent they just separate from their main body and keep flying, it'd be a sky full of mosquitoes that have a very deadly bite

I don't get why you guys think the player ADF-11F Raven is a drone. It is not. According to Acepedia The ADF-11F Raven is split into two aircraft. The ADF-11 (or the drone) and the Raw F Body. The Raw F Body can be installed with either the ADF-11 drone or a cockpit. The player variant is the cockpit variant. So technically it's not a drone.

@Blaze Wardog016 I couldn't get mine to work wither. Turned out I had to deregister it as a controller with Steam. It worked after that.

I mean, technically thus is plausible in the game. Oseans captures an ADF-11F in one of the factories. So they retrofitted it with a pilot mount instead of COFFIN Cameras. Rest of the lore is seen in the video

It's Terminator all over again, with Trigger being the heroic T-800 (even though the Raven has been modified as a MANNED craft).
I remembered AC 3, when i chased X-49 Night Raven in tunnel mission. The aircrafts of “Ellectroshpere” were incredibles: X-49, XR900, Aurora, R-series and etc. I wonder why they disappeared in new AC.
Well, the reason why those planes haven’t been seen in the most recent games is that they’re from the future.
In other words, those planes haven’t even been built yet.

Hope that there will be more Ace Combat games to come. This game is like my third life. Along side with HALO witch is my second life. I should not be calling Ace Combat a game, I look at it like a jet plane sim.
This brings back memories of the time I played Ace Combat 4 with a friend and do dogfights.
