Putting $1,500 Wheels On A Trail Bike - CRF250F Factory Wheel Build

- In the previous video we talked about the top recommendations for dirt bike tire inflation in 2024, from Tubliss, UHD tubes, Mousse Bibs, and ultimately my favorite option the 7mm thick, dual integrated rim lock, Lucioli.
So in today's video we will be installing Lucioli tubes in the front and rear of a custom wheel set built by Dubya out in California. I sent out my factory hubs to be coated and laced with D.I.D. Dirt Star wheels, Cerakoted spokes and anodized nipples. These wheels were a large investment but you can definitely do it cheaper if you want to lace your own hubs.
Kenda hooked it up with a pair of the legendary K772 Parker DT tires which are a staple in desert / baja racing. Let me know if you would like to see a full review!
The Lucioli can be tricky to install but with the right tools and a bit of patience you can get the job done.

Love your 250F build! It is so rewarding as a viewer to see an underrated, downright forgotten platform go from stock to what you have there. Great work!
Those wheels look awesome! Another great video!
Glad you uploading more again. Weather just getting nice enough to ride in Minnesota
Happy to be back in full swing. Glad to hear! Get out there and have some fun.
Crikey Mate ! Awesome looking wheels Tanner😉 They look really nice, the bikes look way better with the black rims don’t they 😍
Cheers
I remember you struggling your first tire video getting throwing a wrench mad to taking that experience and deciding to master it and not give up great job!!!!
The wheel set looks fabulous!
They look awesome!
That is one epic 250F, nice work!
We need an update video on your camper/housing/living setup you are rolling with now.
Wheels look sick!
Love the stash looking better without the beard
First! 🎉🥰
Love the stache 🥸🥵😍
🤣🤣
Just gonna tease us with the graphics aye? 😂 looks sick can’t wait to see the vids with it!
I had to!! Bike turned out unreal.
@@AdventureDaily can’t wait man, I had a crank oil seal go out on the RMX right when both of my buddies got their KTM’s together, but hopefully be back on the trails soon
Two videos in two weeks let’s keep it up❤❤
Love the wheels AND the music 😂
Do you know what is the max tire size you can put on a stock 250F rear rim? I just purchased a 24' 250f and already need a new tire. Looking for just a size taller. Love your content!
Ever consider adding a Rabaconda to the trailer setup?
What bike would you recommend a crf 250f or a 250l I mainly do pretty high-speed trails and road but I don’t have a license so it doesn’t have to have a plate
Dig the new build!
Hey you should try some Motoz tires they are really good
The most interesting man in the world has decided to appear
250f vs klx300r video please
They look sick I hate mounting dirt bike tires I'd rather do gravel truck tires much easier lol.
They are so much more difficult than they should be 😂
I’m having a problem finding stock back rim. (Cracked mine) I can find 18-2.15. So you’re saying I should be able to lace up a 2.15 on my stock hub with oem spokes? As long as it’s 36 spokes?
I am pretty sure but not 100% on what spokes you will need. May need to drill out the holes a bit.
@@AdventureDaily it seems to be my best option, oem stock rim is $600+ , but aftermarket 18x2.15 is 190. I can get a bigger back tire on it though. I now have a second question. stock is 100/100/18, how wide is yours without interfering with the chain? would 100/120 18 be ok, or play it safe with 100/110?
wider is better I would think. :). also thanks for getting back to me, I watch all your 250f vids.
I am just wondering how I watched this for 21 min and the bike is in the background all blurry? Was dying for some closeups 😢
Couple things; homie’s changing tires in his socks 😂. Aluminum sprocket on a dual sport build???
I am in my house and free is free brother I don’t ride anyways😂
@@AdventureDaily you da man for sure! I wish I could change tires in my living room! Lex is an angel 😇. Aluminum is fine as long as you watch it and change more often. I know you don’t be riding!!! Hopefully soon tho!
alot of dual sports have alum sprokets. lighter weight.
Definitely overpaid on those wheels. Colin at Faster USA has done all my wheel sets, and they are immaculate, and cheaper than $1500 (hopefully you didn't really pay that much).
If someone can figure out how to do a fork swap so that I can put a pair of inverted forks on my own CRF250F I'd be happy to follow along to a video.
Yeehaw
If u move on, I wanna buy this bike. FYI
Lordy lordy I have some new Titanium knees, you need to get yourself a Moose tire stand save your back and knees !!
How was the process? I have a stand back home, too bulky to carry with us, this was in the back of the toy hauler haha.
@@AdventureDaily You did the job, but it was painful to watch lol. Sweet lookin ride !!
You could probably run that lucioli tube as a supermoto tire 😂
I’ve seen people do it😂
That old school music was ANNOYING!
Pretty wheels.....you forgot to show them on the bike, haha.
